• The DigiCom 2 is an advanced auto-dialling digital communicator for alarm reporting. • It can transmit alarm signals to an Alarm Receiving Centre via the analogue PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) using the 'DTMF Fast Format' protocol. • Monitors PSTN line continuously. If a fault occurs, a message will be sent to the control panel. • Built-in Abort Function to enable older alarm systems to comply with the ACPO false alarm policy. • PC programmer • 8 alarm inputs - when triggered by the alarm system, the Digicom 2 initiates cells to the Alarm • Receiving Centre • Built-in relay for serial handset connection • Three way calling to override engaged telephone line • NVM re-usable chip.
