HITBOX140A MIG Welder 110V/220V, Flux Core Welder/Stick ARC/Lift Tig/Spool Gun 4 In 1 Gasless Mig Welding Machine with LCD Display Synergy Dual Voltage IGBT Inverter Welder (HIM200)

I have been very impressed with this little machine.It has delivered excellent value for it's low cost.For the price you can't beat it.I can (and have) grabed it to do a quick small repair on up to 3/8" steel.I have also used it to mock up an assembly from 1/4" stock, in a tight space while up on a roof or in a manlift 60' up in a warehouse ceiling for mounting brackets for speciality equipment that needs to be fabricated and then certified by an equipment manufacturer.The only minor issue I have with it is the amperage shown on it's display is not correct. It will show 140a while it is putting out about 80 amps and show 200 amps when it is actually delivering about 90-95 amps (checked that with a digital clampmeter).That is not a deal killer for me because I have been doing this so long. It has not seemed to change or have any effect on it's usage in the time I have had it .IIt's not a Miller, but for 1/20 of the price you can't beat it.

I waited a few months to review. I got this for my teenager as a Christmas present. It's perfect for beginners especially the price! He was able to figure things out pretty easy.

I have used this for a few small projects. I've used it for stick and mig welding. For mig I used the spool gun which I bought with this as a package deal. I have no complaints about this. The machine is much smaller than my old mig welder, and more capable. I like that the wire is only live when the trigger is pressed, I wish my old one had that feature.

This welder is absolutely awesome. Bought it because I wanted a flux-core welder that is portable and actually works just for flux-core wire (.030). I haven’t welded in twenty years, but the HitBox Mig welder (HIM 200) worked flawlessly. The one dial allows you to either select the Amperage, or the Thickness of material. Set Amperage to 90A for .065 thin-walled tubing & 137A for 1/8" thick stuff…it has great, very consistent arc using 20A-120v, and kept up. Only negatives are the manual is in DIRE need of some editing and remove the MIG "Gas" nozzle and install a Harbor Freight Vulcan flux-core nozzle (better view of the arc/bead). With this information, page 11 of the manual is all you really need. And don't forget to attend YouTube Trade School sessions on "Flux-Cored MIG Welding".

This welder did not work properly the buttons on the front barely work had to push them 20 times for the mode to change. The company could care less just send it back they say, well i did and the tig torch they sent that was completely wrong. Too bad because i was planning on buying three of their welders but no support, no warranty, no communication, no good ?????????? No way to run a business today .......
