Takes a minute to warm up
Takes Double A (AA) Batteries that do not come with it. It takes a few seconds to warm up if you haven't used the bubble gun in a little while. The bubbles are fairly small and come out quickly once it warms up. It does make quite a bit of noise- but not super load- just like a hum. The little bottles are able to be refilled easily. But you do need to watch it is not too tight or the bottle gets suctioned in. Overall a good toy for a toddler who can be a little rough on his toys.
