Does seem to work for me, detailed story below.
I waited for a long time before I posted this review because I wanted to see and track my stones to understand how well this stuff actually works. Let me start with a brief history of my kidney stones. I am a man of 29 years of age. My first stone experience I believe occurred when I was 24, but that episode went un-diagnosed. About 2 years ago I had my first experience that I had to be hospitalized for. That was a 3.6 mm stone and it was excruciating, as bad as any story you've heard. About 5 months after that episode, I had a day where I could not work because of the pain but it was not excruciating nor did I pass a stone. 2 months after that I passed another excruciating stone that was only about 2mm. Nothing after that until last march (2015) where I started to have intermittent pain. I had changed jobs by this point and had good healthcare with Kaiser so I went in for a scan. They found quite a few stones in me. One 3 mm stone in my left ureter (causing present pain), one or possibly two stones stuck together measuring 7x6 mm also in my left kidney, and another 4 mm stone in my right kidney. The pain came and went over the next two months, the 3 mm stone in my left ureter would not budge. I took Tamsulosin that was prescribed by the doctor but it made me very lethargic and didn't seem to be helping at all. In early May 2015, the stone had gotten stuck at the bottom 1/3 of the ureter. The pain had gotten to a point that it was persisting for a matter of days. I got desperate and started looking for any information I could find. I came across Chanca Piedra as a possible solution. Being the skeptic that I am, I didn't think much of it but I figured since my local grocery store Sprouts had a 1 ounce bottle for only 13 dollars, it was certainly worth a shot. I bought it, took a small dose and didn't think much about it. I was still in pain and considering Ureteroscopy, a painful and invasive procedure, so I started reading more about this brand of Chanca Piedra and reading the hundreds of positive reviews. It was then that I decided I had to start taking this multiple times a day and give it a real shot. By the second day of taking this Herb Pharm Stone Breaker multiple times per day, the pain I had been experiencing for months disappeared; and never came back. I gave it some time, still taking the Stone Breaker solution a few times a day. I went in for a scan a couple months later. The new scan showed that the 3 mm stone that was in my left ureter could no longer be found. I had not found it in my urine nor did I feel any pain, so I was feeling good that this stuff helped pass or break up the stone. I asked the doctor about my other stones. She said "it doesn't look like they've changed, the stone in my left kidney was still 6 mm and the stone in my right kidney was still 3 mm"; but wait a second, didn't she tell me 7 mm and 4 mm before? Yes she did. I considered this great news as the stones definitely had not gotten bigger nor did I have any new stones. At this point, I was definitely feeling good about Herb Pharm's Stone Breaker and I decided to buy the larger bottle and continue a regimen of taking it 2-3 times a day in addition to the other changes I made. I only made 3 changes during this time. One was taking the Stone Breaker. The next was avoiding a bad habit I had which was drinking whiskey and then falling asleep afterwards only to wake up in the middle of the night dehydrated. Now I make sure to drink plenty of water before bed, especially if I have a drink. The third change was cutting out extremely high oxalate foods such as spinach, chard and beets as my stones are calcium oxalate. I did not make any other changes and I do believe the Chanca Piedra is solely responsible for helping me pass the 3mm stone pain free. Now, fast forward to the present. After almost six months of no pain, no communication with the doctor, and staying pretty consistent with the changes I had made, I got another scan just yesterday. The doctor can no longer find the '3 mm' stone that was in my right kidney, it almost 'magically' seems to have disappeared. I don't recall passing it or having any pain. The rather large stone that is in my left kidney is still there but has not gotten bigger. I don't know if it has gotten smaller, I'm not sure the doctor would acknowledge that as a possibility, as stones don't tend to get smaller by themselves. But my outlook is looking much better, as there is still no new stones and I should be able to break this one up with shock wave therapy. Let me tell you, that's a lot better than the ureteroscopy I was considering back in May before this product came into my life. Hopefully, the shock wave therapy will be successful and I can get this last stone out of me and never get them again. I'm going to continue to take this supplement on a weekly basis for the foreseeable future as I do believe it helps. Will it magically dissolve all your stones overnight? I don't think so. Will it help smooth them out and make passing the stones easier? I think, definitely. Will it possibly make them smaller, if only slowly? I think, probably. Will it help prevent new stones from forming or getting started? I do think so. If you suffer from regular stones this is definitely worth a good honest shot. I hope this detailed account of my experience will help people like myself that like to see a little more than "It works!" or "Didn't work for me!". There hasn't been any controlled studies on this stuff yet that prove it's effectiveness one way or the other, but for the price of dinner, it's definitely worth a shot. Update 12/2015: I just finished up with my doctor reviewing how the lithotripsy worked on my 6mm stone. This is the procedure where they break stones apart with shock waves. I won't go into details about the procedure but the outcome was that the stone blasted very easily. The doctor could not find any traces of any stones anywhere on the X-Ray. Her words were "You're the poster child for lithotripsy, we couldn't have gotten a better result." When I mentioned this supplement to her, she wasn't interested in hearing about it, but I think the fact that the stone blasted so easily in the lithotripsy is just another piece of evidence that this supplement did in fact work for me. When I look at the timeline and all the events, I'm simply convinced. It's too bad there is no incentive to fund any rigorous studies on things like this so that doctor's could start recommending it.

Works really well for gallstones
I've been suffering for a couple of years with gallstones and attacks. My go to remedy has always been apple cider vinegar with water. I read about chanca piedra and that's why I ordered it. One day I was feeling a gallbladder attack and I was already getting my apple cider vinegar ready when I remembered this and I added it to my mixture (apple cider vinegar and apple juice). Within about 5 minutes the pains stopped. A couple of minutes later I felt something leave my gallbladder but without pain. The next day my gallbladder was feeling irritated all day. I felt like a stone was stuck somewhere. I felt like vomiting and discomfort. I added a dropper of this to apple juice and cider and it made me vomit within a handful of minutes. I can almost guarantee I vomited a stone (yes I heard it when it hit the trash can) but i felt so much better. This is such a life changing tincture. Don't think twice about it if you have gallstones and suffer from attacks. It tastes like celery, not to bad if mixed with apple juice

You know it works, if it tastes horrible!
This stuff actually works. From an 8mm stone to undetectable and unable to call passing it. Sure, it tastes horrible, but I'd rather gag for a second than pass a kidney stone. I won't even take a star off for that- the benefits outweigh the short displeasure.

Not sure if it helped or not
I had a kidney stone for a few months (but never went to the doctor). Recently, I had repeating sharp pains in my lower back (left side) and left side of abdomen which I believe is the kidney stone moving, so I wanted to try this to get it out. I just finished the bottle but I don't know if it worked out not.. I took it 3 times a day as directed, as well as doing jumping exercises everyday and taking marshmallow root supplements. The first few days, I felt that pain in lower back and abdomen every now and then. So maybe it was working and the kidney stone was moving. However, after about a week, the pains somewhat stopped, but I didn't see a kidney stone come out. So after finishing the bottle, I don't really know if it worked out not. I didn't see any stones come out but I have no pains, maybe the kidney stone is just stationary again? My main symptoms of the stone still persist, which are urinary pain related. But maybe it's caused by something else (maybe prostate issues). In the end, I know I have/had a kidney stone but I don't if it came out or not.. never went to a doctor so can't confirm.. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that it did something.. As for the taste, it tastes like bitter Chinese herbal medicine. I had to drink stuff like this my entire life so I could handle the taste, but it doesn't taste good.

It helped me pass a 5.3 mm stone on my first try, and recently, a 6.4 mm stone as well. Highly recommended!

This is a good price and great product. I'd moved a kidney stone in the middle of the Summer and it sort of got stuck, about half way down. The pain during any kind of exertion was quite awful. I knew I had to act fast so bought this. It says on the bottle to use about 40 drops per glass of water, three times a day. Well, this worked. The aggravating stone reduced in size very quickly and of course, moved further along its path. However, LOTS more stones then went mobile too, on both sides! Thankfully, they were much smaller and not a problem, but the pain from various hot spots was slowing me down, especially whilst double-digging my flowerbed. (You may ask, why set yourself that kind of task if you have kidney stones? Simple, since getting rid of my migraines, I am not going to slowed down by measly kidney stones, they're pathetic in comparison to the debilitating horror a full-blown 72-hour slow burning electrical shock to your head!) So that's when I decided to also take Epsom Salts in the evening, to just dissolve them even more. I think the two products work well together e.g. taking 2 applications of Stone Breaker during the day, then Epsom Salts at around 7pm. All to be taken on an empty stomach. I also increased the dose for SB by adding three half pipettes to half a glass of water. That dose seems to be much more suited to solving my particular problems. Needless to say, in under a week, I'm virtually stone free (TG and all the Angels!!). I'm really amazed at how convenient and effective this product is! Kidney stones affect more women than men, but if you ask Joe Public about them, people say men get them more often. Personally, I think that a lot of women must register kidney stone 'episodes' as either back ache or the follow-on discomfort of painful joints? If you can isolate the actual cause of your discomfort, by literally sitting very still, like I did in A&E with my first stone, and really listening to what the pain is telling you. By this I mean crucially working out from each painful stab if its a pain that travels slowly or feels as if its trying to? For certain in the past, I registered mobile kidney stones as simple backache and I think my aunt, whom I seem to take after in many respects, also complained of that vague pain. Swollen, hot feet, nausea, backache, pain on exertion and a general feeling of being unable to function properly, are the basic signs of undiagnosed, kidney stones. And also lets not forget, low adrenal output is virtually always to blame because of the bicarbonate recycling thing. Update 20/09/14: Stone Breaker had also managed to reduce my gallstones, to the point that I had some kind of gallstone attack. As I was able to recognise what was happening to me (classic strong upper abdominal cramps that come in waves), I acted promptly and did a mini-gall bladder flush. It worked well and I felt immediately better. I consider a big weekend liver flush session to be far too inconvenient for the way I live and much prefer a mini version, as it doesn't cause diarrhoea and means you only lose an hour from your routine. Update 31/01/15: After so many kidney stones, I finally realised something was seriously wrong, so I decided to back track a bit and try and work out why? After a process of elimination, I worked out that these new kidney stones could not be zapped in the same way as I had dealt with the previous lot. So I looked back over my notes and realised that in the small print of N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), it does state that if you take it for too long, as a well person that is, then it causes kidney stones because you will make too much glutathione and if glutathione oxidises because it is surplus to your needs, then it turns to kidney stones made of cysteine. Kidney stones made of cysteine are rare and usually only hereditary . As I knew no one in the family suffered from these, I worked out it had to be something I was taking? Indeed, it is recommended that if you take NAC on a regular basis, then you should increase your intake of vitamin C, to counter-act this effect. Well, I didn't increase my intake and the stones increased in size and number as a result. Luckily, if you have stones made of cysteine, its really easy to zap them with large amounts of vitamin C. I did that for about 2 or 3 days to get rid of them, and it worked! As a diagnostic tool, I suppose I can look back and say, well, I wouldn't have had those stones if I wasn't a well person, as only a well person can make too much glutathione? Which is kind of consoling? The other thing worth noting is that I'm not going to stop taking NAC, all that its going to change is that I won't take it as often. Because its such a fantastic help to your liver to detox paracetamol and because it increases glutathione. Paracetamol is something that I've taken a lot of in the past and I really need to get all of that out of my liver, for the sake of my future. The other thing that makes me continue to supplement with NAC, is that it detoxes aldehydes. My 7 years of horrendous migraines (NOW TOTALLY OVER- TG!) were due to acetaldehyde in my body as a result of Candida excreting this neurotoxin. I would like to think that every last trace of the cause of all that rampant inflammation is being eliminated.

It definitely made a difference with my urinary tract functions. I'm not really sure how it works but I also get less bloating. The taste needs getring used to.

Good value for money as it is related to my health which for me it has no value in this earth. My health is precious. It's in liquid mixed with water or juice. It tastes nice. I ordered last night and it arrived today! Wow. That is praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. Glory to God. Thanks.
