Good for icebreakers
Bought this for me and my partner to play at the early stages of our relationship and some questions were really good. It's a smart way to open up to the person you are interacting with through this game. Can also be played with family.

Good concept but expensive for just some cards
Love the concept of this and the questions are good thought provoking conversation starters but £25 for 100 cards is very expensive. You'll get through these fairly quickly and it's hard to want to buy the other packs at this price point. £15 seems more appropriate in my opinion.

Learnt a lot and gained insight into my partner, my mum etc. Questions are sometimes a bit too non specific though

Great to learn more about others
This is a very simple and interesting concept for a game which simply involves questions which are quite personal in three different levels. I've included a picture of what sort of questions to expect for each other to give you an idea. There's Close, Closer and Closest. Each going up and becoming more in depth - there's no real rules to playing other than deciding which level to start at and how many questions you would like to ask and answer. Myself and my Partner started off on the first level and did a couple then moved up to the next then remained on Closest as we feel we know everything about eachother anyway but it is surprising what you learn! There's silly challenges too to create a bonding experience such as laughing for 5 minutes, starting as a fake laugh then you end up really laughing! It's a great game for couples, perhaps a nice valentines or anniversary gift but also great as a bonding exercise for work or support groups or group parties with friends.A great idea and a laid back game with no pressures to answer certain things if you're not comfortable and good to strengthen relationships with your partners as you delve into things you might not normally ask such as 'Have you ever broken someones heart?' or 'How can i improve myself a be a better person?'Recommended, interesting questions to spark interesting conversations!

Let's get Closer Table Talk
This arrived in its own packaging which is part of the game .The top of the box slides off to reveal cards inside . Each card has a few questions on the back , IE Who's your best friend and Why ? What's your favourite meal ? ...This is basically a conversation game which would be especially useful if you're entertaining guests for the first time and want to get to know them .The cards and box are made from good quality card . The lettering is clear and easy to read .My one negative is the price , while I fully understand it's meant as a game it's £18 price tag is in my opinion over the top for what is essentially a packet if cards , but I suppose this depends on how much you're willing to spend .It's a great way to get to know other across the table so I'm recommending .

Great idea to get the conversation going in any situation
This is a great idea to start a conversation on an occasion. Be it a dinner party, a gathering, a date or just generally getting to know someone. The box the cards come in is sturdy and holds the cards well: the cards themselves feel like they are made from recycled paper which is also good. There’s nothing worse than sitting down to a dinner and everyone just ends up talking about the usual… politics, sport, or what with the current pandemic… covid. It’s nice to get off those subjects and discuss other things which then opens a up avenues to ask other questions. I’m not sure what a first date would think if you turned up with these, especially if you’re the type of person to get nervous and stumped for things to say. But you could always learn a few questions to ask from the cards beforehand, but not think about the answers until you get on the date. Even if it’s for a date night at home during the pandemic. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your other half even more.

Great way to create an understanding between individuals
Looking at all the questions the progression from close to closer to closest is a well-thought-out transition. The questions on the closest set aren't ones that should cause arguments or unacceptable uncomfortableness. They are designed to strengthen the bond between individuals by teasing the uncomfortable boundary. There are wild cards that will require you to carry out an activity that can be quite intense but not in a bad way.The cards are made of a thick card material that should hold the test of time but will not survive any liquid spills. The levels are indicated with different coloured card backs. Mixing all the decks together could prove another way to play this if you are feeling in a more exciting mood. This set is a great way to connect people however, after you play it with someone there is not much point in playing again. And this is something you would want to play with only ONE person. The price tag is very steep for this amount of value but then again building a strong connection cannot have a price tag?
