Actually I was looking for "Sela kampot pepper". Since I couldn't find it, I have tried 2 different peppers from Amazon instead. Between these two, Mekong pepper costs more but tastes much better than the other one.

I have been using Kampot pepper for a few years. While this is not marketed as such, it is a wonderful and strong pepper from the general region. We love it and the smell and taste are incredible. Highly recommend!!!

It had a great Spice to it

After traveling to SE Asia, and Cambodia in particular, I fell in love with their strong peppercorns. This is the second bag of these that I have purchased, in an effort to get something directly from the area. Much better than your typical grocery store options and worth the price. I use them in substitute for anything that requires fresh peppercorn, but some may want the mild or medium options for daily use--I prefer the strong. Will continue to buy these whenever my supply dwindles.

I love this peppercorn! It have a very punchy flavour and you only need a little to get the flavour to a whole dish. I use it on just about everything.

I got the strong flavored pepper and I love the flavor. They go great on peppered steaks and this stuff is amazing.

This is the only brand of black pepper we buy. We even take it when we travel. It has a wonderful flavor and aroma that comes out on salads or cooked in with food. It is always fresh and we use allot less than regular black pepper so it lasts. I highly recomment this product

This is a really nice and complex black pepper. I buy it because my wife was born in Cambodia and I like to support her home country, but truly it is very good quality. Kampot is a wonderful area and it produces several good peppercorn products. (Pepper crab and pickled green peppercorns!)
