Be aware that you have to be able to access the cabling in the ceiling above where you install the ceiling rose to install this light fitting. You cannot use your existing cabling as the black cable goes into a sealed unit at the bottom just above where the bulb goes in as shown in the photo. In my quirky old house it wasn't possible to access the wiring in the ceiling so am having to return it. Lesson also supplied instructions for a different light fitting which didn't help matters and one of the end attachments for the chain was missing too.Also be aware that this is a heavy lightshade. If you install it where you could hit your head on it then a collision would be painful.
