Good value I wish they were thicker but you get what you pay for. Use them as straps, they are holding up fine so far. I think they're real leather, but hard to tell what's fake these days.

Beautiful leather should come in wider sizes. I’d love to see a same thickness but wider. In fact I would buy an actual foot by foot of this. I would like to or half a foot by half a foot I’d like to buy a longer role in order to make more things out of this leather and even maybe a little bit thinner of the same or not same but different sizes of this color but definitely great for belt and straps. Love to see different sets of attachments like the attachments to make your own belt the metal parts things like that tools to work with leathers and tool kits to carve in leathers from your company in and so your customers will stay with you in ordering those different types of things to work with the leather that you sell instead of having to go somewhere else to buy them and end up buying the leather from other places that do sell those tools that work with leather and then you might not get those customers back you might lose them, so I would totally buy the tools from your company and stay with your company if I could get the tools to work at the leather where I get the leather I think that you will keep more customers than just me this way because it’s not fun to have to look all over the place for different things that should all be around the same place or from the same company or easier I mean just to buy from the same company then five different companies you know it just would be so much easier for people who are artists like me and who are ending up selling their work and will return to you and continue to buy products I need from you to work with and make your product into something without having to go somewhere else like making belts! like I said thickness is great smooth smooth beautiful color is perfect just as shown and the functionality is limitless as far as the size and length anyway want more sizes want more lengths please and tools other tools thank you

I was generally very pleased with this nominally 1” (25mm) genuine leather strap (in red). It is perhaps a 3oz weight if convertible into standard leather weights, which is nominally about 2mm thick. It is flexible, soft, with a back that is only mildly sueded. I use this to make collars for people who enjoy wearing them as part of their relationship dynamic, and in this application it worked extremely well. It punched easily, and if you have a good sharp punch, cleanly. It was easy to work, and unlike pleather (yuk), it doesn’t stretch much and is comfortable on the skin, The color is died all the way through, but you should note that there will be some mild color change from the color you received as you work it and the leather bends - this is not uncommon, and if you need a stable color to work with or give to a customer, then you should spend some time pre-working it. I will include pictures & video that shows how the color shifts right out of the package when bent, and show it side by side with 8-9oz veg tan leather so if you’re an experienced leatherworker you can get a comparison to one of the more common leathers we work with. All in all I am fairly pleased with the value for the money paid at this width (less so that the 1/2” & 1/4” widths are nearly the same price for far less leather.

Used this to make a renaissance-style belt for a friend. Seems like high quality leather, and held a hunting knife and 2 leather pouches no problem. I wish it were a little thicker, but overall very pleased. Used a simple ring and four split-rivets from my local hardware store to make the belt. Looks great!

The drawing says 72” ( 2 pcs ) . It is one at 72” and worth it. They need to change that.

In description it says tooling unfortunately any tooling done is removed as the leather is to flexible
