product size and plastic around is good. it locks perfectly. But silicone is too filmsy it broke on same day i got it. I am very disappointed with the quality of silicone . it should be little thick and flexible so that it wont break like this.

I had one of these for onions but I inadvertently cut the silicone with a knife.I had to have another and love the multiple pack offered.

Many reviews stated these are difficult to open. I purchased them anyway. I discovered they are easily opened when you push in as you turn. Directions should come with them. Don't even attempt to use it to keep an avocado fresh. Nothing keeps an avocado. And it's too much pressure for a tomato. They are good for onions, partially eaten apples, and citrus fruits. It saves on storage bags. They are worth the nominal price.

Works great and everything I have tried kept it fresher than putting in a container.
