Like many of the pumice stones on the market the product is a bit to "soft" for pool tile. I use another brand that does not scratch the tile and yet lasts long enough for a number of cleaning of the pool tile. This product is soft and deteriorates quickly when used on pool tile, it's intended use as described on the site. Also, some of the pumice on the market is more white than grey and does not leave any stains on white grout lines.

It doesn't work on tile/concrete and disintegrated when trying to use. I used the original pool block pumice stone for many years to clean calcium build up on my pool tile. Now ~ I can't clean my tile using this method. This specific product is not the same as it used to be. Called manufacture @ us pumice company ~ he said the vein where they mined the pumice is exhausted. I was told that the pumice they use now is the same. How can the Heavy Duty Scouring Stick compare to the Pumice Stone for tile concrete - it doesn't. I have a piece of the old pumice stone ~ it's different and heavier to explain the composition of the pumice. Volcanic ash powder compressed into a block is what I see now. I'm completely disappointed. This product should not use the name of the original pool block/pumice stone because it's not acceptable to do so.

This stone does the job on removing the calcium buildup on my pool's waterfall spill over. Plus is does a great job at removing the rings in my toilet which has reduced using the toilet brush.My two negatives is that I only bought one with one now dedicated to the toilet and it does wear down quickly on the pool tiles which means less than a season with one stone.

This product works great, but it dissolves very quickly. For an average size pool order many.

This is the only thing I have found to get hard water marks off the pool tile. It leaves a mess at the bottom of the pool but it does work. I suggest you use a couple each year to prevent it from getting too far out of hand

Worked but I thought it would last a little longer. Hey now...

I bought one and tried it on certain spots and it did what it is supposed to.But to cover larger area one should buy at least four of these packs....the one I bought dissolved quickly.....but it does what it is supposed to!

Maybe the product is good. Did not work for me to remove scale on pool surrounding rocks. I guess it is for tiles only. I need to find something else for my purpose.
