The 3D multi knife is exceptionally sharp, requiring careful cleaning. I successfully tested the bulb for garlic peeling, and it performed admirably. Its compact design doesn't occupy much kitchen space. Both the food bowl and accessories are dishwasher safe, a significant advantage. The build quality is robust and reliable. I run a busy home bakery. I own a 7qt pro stand mixer for all the big batches and an artisan mini mixer for smaller macaron and buttercream batches. But sometimes I make small amounts of specialty fillings that even the mini has a tough time getting much traction with. So I went on a hunt for a small stand mixer. I’m disabled with barely 20% usage of each of my limbs. So having a mixer stand on its own (I.e. not a hand mixer or a whisk job) is essential for my productivity. I tried everything smaller than the artisan mini but they all did worse than the mini at the small jobs. I started looking at compact food processors that touted a whisking function and eventually stumbled on this Salton product. After several failed attempts with multiple appliances, I sure wish I found this weeks ago! But I’m sooo grateful I have it now! I have been making ube cupcakes (purple sweet potato) using the same recipe for over 4 years. One step is to cream the ube jam with egg yolks. Since it is fairly rough textured like mashed potatoes, it’s tough to get the batter super creamy.But I made some using this machine and the bulb attachment to whisk up my cream sauce and the cupcakes turned out smoother, fluffier, and creamier than ever!Everything being dishwasher safe is a huge bonus. Its tiny footprint is super important as well. I can’t move around too much so having all my appliances in one place is essential. This little powerhouse fit right in, especially since it also replaces a small cup blender I used. Win upon win with this one!

Yes this is quite pricey but boy is this versatile! It hardly takes up any room on the kitchen counter, is easy to use and clean and is great for a whole range of tasks from chopping to frothing, shredding and peeling to creating soups and smoothies.We've used this for creating slushies for our little boy with it effortlessly crushing ice to the same consistency as a slush puppy, was easy to rinse under the hot tap and ready to use for its next task.We've used this almost daily for creating my smoothies and it does a great job of obliterating all of the ingredients at once.Operation is easy with 2 speed settings and a variety of easy to change attachments for chopping with the 3D knife, bulb and paddle and just as the manufacturer states it really is an all in one processor.The build is solid and whilst it isn't the most powerful on the market at 400W it still packs a punch and looks like it's built to last daily use for years.Currently priced at £159.99 is quite expensive but it does exactly what the makers say and is a fantastic kitchen gadget that you'll wonder how you ever got on without it before.It feels sturdy in use and can blitz a fair amount and also looks premium.Our sister in law saw this and tried it out for herself and now wants one. I think the mother in law is getting her one for Xmas now lol.I love kitchen equipment that is easy to use and clean and this ticks all the boxes.
