A Magical, Underrated Gem Full of Forest Spirit
Under the Oak Tarot is so underrated. I think it’s an absolutely magical deck. The story of the little girl is so beautiful, and the way each card is illustrated—it’s colorful yet set in the night—you really get the feeling of being in a magical forest. I never got that from the Darkwood Tarot, but this one? It’s like watching an animated movie unfold, scene by scene. The art truly comes alive through its use of color, and the deck carries this enchanting, forest energy. Every time I work with it, it feels deeper than before—it really speaks in layers. The cardstock is a matte linen finish, I think—I’m still learning to identify finishes—but it’s absolutely beautiful to the touch and shuffles like a dream.

Beautiful deck
I bought this deck after seeing a flip through of the cards and I'm so glad I got it.PROS:- Card quality is pretty good, not thin but not super thick to where you can't shuffle them- Beautiful illustrations- Easy to read with- Nice storage boxCONS:- I, personally, prefer linen textured cards, but that's a minor complaint and a personal oneHonestly, there's very little I can say negative about these! They were a definite winner.

Love it.
Absolutely adore the artwork, and the card thickness is perfect for me. Love the gilded edges, too! A great feeling deck.

Great addition to my tarot collection
Excellent quality card stock. Pretty sturdy and good to shuffle. This deck has silver gilded edges. Artwork is beautiful although some cards are not easy to get but there is a guidebook to go to. Kinda wished they have reversal meanings for beginners but overall I still love this deck.

Beautiful deck- not intuitive/ for beginners.
I am happy with my purchase and think the artwork is beautiful. The one concern I do have is that the artwork strays pretty far from the traditional tarot card designs. Therefore you don’t have the same symbols that give insight into the cards meaning. This could be difficult for people still learning the cards.Also- the art does not always clearly reflect the card itself. For example- a depiction of 4 of cups would normally have 4 cups clearly identified in the picture. But for this deck “cups” are flowers and the flowers don’t really stand out in the picture so you would need to rely on reading the card name.Overall, this is a beautiful, creative deck that I am excited to dive into and add to my collection. But I would not recommend this deck to people that are new to tarot or not familiar with the cards and their meanings yet.

Great representation for me
This is my favorite deck right now. Silver gilded, two piece top down box (not that common but it works well) and I love the structure of this deck.
