Ice Bath Tub for Athletes with Lid: Cold Plunge Tub for Recovery, Ice Bath Barrel Plunge Pool

This is my first experience using an ice bath. I am not an athlete, although I am a caretaker for my mom and do a lot of heavy lifting daily. I selected this product as an average user - for the overall benefits of an ice bath, so please consider that my review is based on non-athlete needs or experience.Very compact when storing or set up! Without taking up too much floor space, it still has ample body space. I am 5'9", 160 lb and had space to comfortably move to situate myself. I had expected a much tighter fit, so I was pleasantly surprised by the overall roominess.The material feels quite durable. I had initially been skeptical that it would be like those cheap air mattress rafts used in pools and that it would tear easy. It is definitely more durable than that, but I am curious how well it will stand up to the wrath of our cat, should she ever accidentally have access to it.Drain system works fine. I appreciate the cover instead of just having to leave it open-air to the elements - even though I use it indoors, it is still nice to know I am getting into a "clean" bath each time. Love that it stores compactly, which also makes it portable, should I ever have the silly notion to take it with me on vacation!Overall, I am very pleased with this as my introduction into the benefits of ice-bathing; it is a comfortable price point, in my opinion, to test out if this is something for you or not.

This is great for when you want to recover quicker. I had an issue when I played a bit too hard and a cold plunge is what I need to recover. It's easy to assemble and it's pretty roomy. I'm 5 4 and about 130 and I had a good amount of space to get comfy. This is like having a cold wrap for your whole body. Definitely helps with sore muscles.

This is made of a very flexible material - like a kids blow up pool. It's really thick to prevent any leaking and smaller in size which makes it a great tool for smaller yards, balcony's, etc. Really easy to put together, looks just like the image and will be a great way to kick myself into gear with new years goals. It is pretty heavy, especially with water in it obviously, so best to pick a spot that is easy to fill up and that you can leave it. overall, very happy with this order!

I really enjoy using this ice bath tub by Plunge Magic. after gruesome workouts from the gym or outside I love getting in the cold tub to speed up the recovery process. it definitely takes getting used to, especially if you are like me and aren't a fan of the cold at all, but its definitely worth it. It's very easy to assemble and seems like it's built pretty sturdy. a must have for guys or gals who are serious about training. Zero complaints!

As the parent of a very motivated swimmer, I had high hopes for this product. We have paid stupid money for cryotherapy and other silly restorative treatments, but basic ice baths provide just as much impact in our opinion. So, when I saw this ice bath opportunity, I thought it would be great. The description and pictures made it seem to me like there would be an insulating barrier that might allow you to keep this bucket of sorts from losing its temperature over time. That couldn't be further from the truth. There is an inflatable ring around the top, but the structure is really weak and limp. I consider this nearly a disposable item, and would not recommend purchasing.

This ice bath works. It has a small footprint so it’s good for tight spaces. The top doesn’t stay on super great and I’m not sure what the round circle inside is supposed to do(it floats). The legs will fall out if you pick the whole thing up. It worked well for my daughter and her cross country teammates.

I feel like I have lots of room, and I even put a stool at the bottom so I didn’t have to go all the way to the bottom

This is our first experience with a soft-sided plunge tank, and I’m a little nervous about its longevity.The instructions were extremely lacking, almost pointless. There are components in the box that are not explained or mentioned, although the product listing on Amazon do show what they are… just not the included instructions.The side material seems strong and durable, but the inflated top seems like very questionable build quality.The drain system seems fine, as long as the drain valve doesn’t leak. The side support posts seem strong enough, and they were simple to slide into place. The covers fit fine, and it is actually really roomy for what I expected. I’m 6’1”, 175 lbs and I got with plenty of room to spare. It does come with a repair patch, but if I need to use that it’s probably going in the trash.At the full price point, I don’t think I would purchase, but at a discounted rate, this has potential to aid in some really proven health and mental benefits.
