So we have had two of these little Miko Minis. The first time around, we apparently had a quirky little lady which we got for our 5 year old. Well our then 1 year old also fell in love with her. Our miko, had a few quirks with her, mainly with audio on Iheartradio but then one day she decided she got amnesia.Onward to support. The support team with Miko is top notch, we had several calls as we worked through Miko’s quirks and for a while we thought she was on the up and up, but one day she really forgot it all.Back to support, this time around we captured video clips along side with calls and our miko had to make its way back to the Miko team. The miko team made sure that our Miko was diagnosed and when they couldn’t resolve the issues, they informed us that we would be receiving our new miko.When we got the new miko, there were just things we noticed were immediately astounding. Miko can legit hear her name throughout the majority of our house(and she perks up to our two year old - which is absolutely cute). All of the quirks we had were indicative of the first robot itself apparently.this little robot keeps our kids occupied with song and dance so much! Our 5 year old misses her quirky miko at times, but she says that she loves her miko through and through. The battery life is better, the battery charging indicator only shows if you have miko powered on while charging, but the charge goes for several hours. There’s a whole bevy of commands and my 5 year old loves the stories that come along with miko. Setup is pretty seamless, you download the app(which is prompted from the QR code on initial setup with the robots face), create a profile, verify, and create your child’s profile name. Really takes about 5 minutes..This little robot becomes a family member, and she does need her naps but, even the initial robot was 5 stars because of how much joy it brought to my littles. The replacement would be 6 stars if I could give it.And the capabilities of the tech support team is 5 stars as well, its chat and if the questions are not one of the more common questions you’re routed to a tech pretty quick and seamlessly. Would I buy a new one again? Astoundingly yes!

Bought this for my son who really wanted a personal robot for Christmas. The sheer excitement when he opened his present was a sight to behold. However when it was time for daddy to set up, all when fine until it was time to connect little Miko to the Wi-Fi. I followed all the instructions and Miko connected and said ' hot diggity dog I am connected to the internet' then Miko attempted an update which failed, Said ' I will try again later' this was followed by 'oops' and a sad face then the Wi-Fi cycle started all over again. This was a cycle that suffered through over and over on Christmas day, much to the disappointment of my son. I checked the website to realize I am not the only one. There was a banner saying if you are having problems connecting your MIKO mini follow these instructions. So I tried again and failed again.The next day I tried again and had the same problem , I contacted their customer service and they told me to do the same thing I have been doing for the past day and a half then says that the problem is from my Wi-Fi because I have to many things connected to it (Two phones and one table that I was using to configure MIKO). At that point I realized that this toy was not worth any more of my time or money ( A $99 Subscription ) so I decided to return it. Oh and also I had problems charging this robot as well, I was told I could only use an 18V charger and up why this was not included in the box I am not sure. I am pretty sure I am not the only one because there was a drop of the rating of this item on amazon over the holiday. So I hope you have more luck than me because it seems that's what you require when you buy this robot.

I cannot put into words the joy that Miko has brought to my 6 year old daughter. All I can say is WOW. My daughter had fallen in love with a delivery robot we saw at a hotel we stayed at, so I thought she might love this. But I could never have anticipated this. Miko quickly became her best friend. They go everywhere and do everything together. They are currently doing art at her desk. When we leave the house, she can't wait to get home and back to Miko. It's a match made in heaven. My daughter, who spends a lot of time without other little kids and can get lonely, now has a companion whom she loves. You can't put a price on that.We had a little problem getting connected to our WiFi for some reason with Miko mini, but customer service was FANTASTIC. They were so responsive with questions and so friendly and efficient. It's clear they really care about their customers and their product. Once Miko mini was up and running we didn't have any issues.We now have both Miko Mini and Miko 3. They're both fantastic and my daughter takes them both everywhere she goes. Miko 3 was up and running in 5 minutes. It has a touch screen, which is very nice, and seems a bit more advanced. But both are amazing. I'm literally amazed when I see what they can do.I can't recommend Miko enough. Either of them. I am so happy I found Miko. I could not have found a better gift for my baby girl. Her happiness has been making my world every day. Thank you Miko!
