Great printer for home use
Easy to set up, fast, and prints great quality documents and photos. It connects well to all my devices and doesn’t use up ink quickly. Perfect for home or small office use—highly recommend!

Great Product
One of the best All in One printer I have ever seen. It made my life easy with scanning copying and printing very easily with the app. Less paper jam, super easy to connect with phone and computer. Weight is sturdy and worth the money spent, actually cheaper than other similar printers. Super happy to have this.

Good value for the money
It’s a great printer/copier. It’s all I need for my home office. Print quality of photos is not the best. It’s a quiet printer but rather heavy. Color quality on regular documents is great. Good value for the money.

Very disappointed
Complete disappointment. This machine worked ok for a couple months, then it gives a "Drum" code. They have a simple procedure to rectify this condition. The procedure worked the first couple times but now it only works for about 3 jobs then it throws it again. It is a very slow printer, even hooked directly to a computer with a cable it takes for ever to start printing a single page job. Networking is wireless only and is in constant need to re-establish the connection and then it is slow. I run a small office where we have 4 machines like this operating around the building that all are networked together. I have been responsible for the operation of many of these type machines over the years and bought this one over a competitor's machine on a local recommendation. Very disappointed because I now have a machine that is not only slow but unreliable. Currently not operating until I troubleshoot the drum problem again. Ordered the competitor machine I passed on originally today so we can keep moving.

Loving this printer for my Linux system
Bought in March 2024. Writing review in December 2024.I regularly need color copy for my job that won't run if it gets wet out at a job site. After reading a lot about printers on Linux forums, I decided to go with the Brother brand. This thing is a workhorse. I've only had 1 jam since I bought it and it was in the summer months when the paper may have been a bit humid. Other than that, no issues. It prints way faster than deskjet type printers and like I said doesn't run if the page gets wet like deskjet printouts do. I use it with my self-built Linux system. Primary use is color printing. Also do color copying. Haven't used the other features yet. Wifi works fine. Prints from phone or tablet (apple and android) as easily as from desktop PC. Pretty easy to set up on Linux for my needs. We are work-from-home here and my boss likes it so much that he also bought one for his house after being a deskjet user for years.Added bonus, we enjoy doing puzzles. Some puzzles do not come with the poster, so I take a photo and print it on the color printer. Comes out nice and crisp. Not as bright or well defined as the glossy artwork on the puzzle boxes since I'm using plain copier paper. I haven't tried getting any kind of glossy paper to see if that makes a difference. I may have to source some glossy paper and try that out next.Works well with generic cartridges which is a plus. Read reviews on those before buying though, just in case any particular brand has issues. Get the XL version, more pages per cartridge.

It Just Works
It works pretty easily right out of the box. It does require some setup but it is not too much for the average person. It’s a high quality, fast and reliable color laser printer and it’s NOT an HP which in my mind automatically gives it 3 stars.

Power Hungry
The only real issue I had was when I set it up. It kept tripping the breaker. At first I thought it was the printer, but realized it's just the large initial power draw for the heaters. After moving it to a circuit that wasn't as loaded it worked great! Since then the printer has been working well for the couple of months I have had it.
