I bought these to replace hooks in a closet. I needed something to hang fedora hats on that wouldn't wrinkle or mark the felt.The rounder the hanger, the better.First these hangers install easy enough. I installed them on a wooden board that was already in the closet. The screw holes that were there from the old hooks lined up so I didn't have to drill pilot holes.No assembly. Just mount them on a wall. They included drywall screws also.These hangers have enough surface to hang your hat on to that it doesn't harm even felt hats. They are more than sturdy for my hats.The hats that I have don't hang flat against the wall. They sit at an angle. That's fine for me.I'm happy with the functionality and the price.

Works well. Would have preferred a different more efficient wall anchors for the screws (some that don’t poke through)- ended up using some of our that we already had. Holds that hats nicely and pretty simple install.
