I got this to supplement a support that I already have. I have frequently suffered from injuries to my Achilles tendons, and at the time of ordering I had an injury again. It does not seem to give any relief to my injury, but that could be because it is particularly painful.The material is quite thin compared to my other support, but it seems to be durable. After putting your foot in the brace the side sticks with the Velcro type material. The strap is wide and easy to fasten again with Velcro type material. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, showing how to fasten the strap. When fitted it does not need too much adjustment to your shoe because of its thin material. There are two stiffening strips which locate either side of your ankle, to add support. The supports do not give any relief for my condition but may be of more use in preventing injury during activities?I take a UK size 9 shoe and selected the large size, and this fits me well.Overall I think this is adequate rather than a solution for an already injured ankle.

This ankle support is very good. I broke my ankle in 3 places and it needs support - this does the job and I can wear shoes and trainers and while wearing.Helps with my pain relief so would highly recommend.

I've only worn it twice and it seems quite supportive but the issue I have is that the plastic insert around the ankle actually digs into my ankle and I have to keep repositioning it for comfort.

I thought this pack contains a pair but actually it is only one so make sure when you order it. This strap is solid and quite elastic. It is easy to put on and quite tight. It gives good support under the arch and around the ankle so it can ease the pain of the foot. Good for protecting your foot exercising. Just the price is a bit high for one piece.

Got a hole in one of the seams on first use, I'll say no more.The company has given me a full refund. Their message finished with 'have a nice life!'. I'll say no more.

This is a good support for your ankle, I can't comment on it affect on a sports injury but for mild injury support it does its job.Its elasticated and easily slips over the foot and although it feels a bit strange at first when worn you soon feel comfortable having it on.Its not too thick that you can't wear normal footwear but you do know it's there when walking but not to cause discomfort.It gives good support under the arch and around the ankle releaving pain in the area.I wear safety boots all day at work and this helps support my ankle with all the standing I do during the day.

I have less pain in my heel and underfoot area than I've had without this strap. I was pleased the day that I wore it to work inside dress shoes and I hardly noticed the strap all day. I don't expect miracles with just a strap but I'll say that I'm at least as pleased with this as I had hoped.A real test was to play pickleball yesterday wearing the strap. I'm pretty certain that playing pickleball is what caused my heel and foot pain in the first place. Anyways, for the first hour I had little to no pain thus playing was a lot more fun than it had been. I could sprint around the court without some part of my mind being on pain and how to compensate for it. In the second hour of play I started to feel the pain more and more. Not suprising as I said, I don't expect miracles just by wearing this strap.I am glad to have this strap. It has resulted in less foot pain than I've felt for the past month. I might be feeling plan fasciitis but that's my unprofessional assessment.
