Although the design and look are really good the build quality isn’t! The push button to remove the blade fell off and I had to refit myself. For the price of the unit, I would not expect such a cheap build quality!

UPDATE: It broke! Lasted three and a half months before the spring loaded bit fell off and couldn't be put back. Shame, as I rather liked it. On the plus side, I found Gillette now does a 'posh' version, in white or black. Hopefully that will last longer. Star rating reduced to 3 from 4 - it was good while it lasted!ORIGINAL: Item just arrived. Looks good quality, and don't understand why Gillette don't make an 'official' razor of this quality. Just to clear up a point of confusion - Amazon description included photo's of a stand and bowl, etc. What arrived was only a razor handle with a blade in a cardboard box with sponge padding. Nothing else. A shame, as the product is nice, but I feel let down as it doesn't match the photo's shown.

Returned as it had scuffs on it and couldnt give it as a gift because of this. Would of been so nice without the scuffs

Much better than the handle supplied by Gillette. Nicely weighted. Slightly different in use to the Gillette generic handle but doesn't take much getting used to.

Great razor but a bit heavy.
