Timber Tones - Acoustic Guitar - Pack of Four, TIMT-ACOU-MP-4

I purchased 2 packs. They arrived in a plain "letter envelope" post mark France, I think, about a week after placing my OrderEach set of Four was in a small poly bag with no other packing. On opening each bag had one pick split in two pieces down the grainThey are in 4 thicknesses to suite all styles of play. I personally do not find any tonal advantageA very disappointing purchase. I gave them 2 stars rather than one because they do look nice !!

Purchased more out of curiosity than anything else these have become my preferred picks for playing acoustic guitar. Quite large they offer plenty of grip and very stiff providing excellent feedback on contact with the strings. However would be exaggerating if I said that the different wood made a noticeable difference to the sound.

I'm NOT an expert, I'm not good at playing guitar....Just to make that clear.But, I wanted some nice plectrums to get me started and have a love of wood.These are so pretty and perfect for the job.They feel nice in your hand and pluck the strings well.I don;t know if they sound better or worse than any other plectrum as I'm not an expert but, I liked them!

Nice picks for lead guitar, but not really so good for general strumming. They feel fine - bit I must confess, I am staying with the good old Jim Dunlop traditionals.

Definitely gives a somewhat different sound to a plastic pick, so worth having as an option, I really like using them with a 12 string.

I play blues on a solid Mahogany Acoustic with Martin Retro strings.These sound good. I think this is achieved because they don't add to the wood and steel.

Sceptical at first. Butnice to use

Somehow these picks add a much rounder sound to whatever guitar your playing and make it sound richer. I'm never going back to plastic picks they just sound naff in comparison. I've no idea how they work and was skeptical at first, but they're brilliant!
