The Art Of the Native American Flute

Very difficult for myself being a novice to understand if I had seen It before I would not have purchased. So sorry a poor rating from myself

The American flute is supposed to be a journey whereby the neccesity to understand written music is unnecessary. Whilst the book by Nakai is extremely interesting it is also a little difficult to understand as there is quite a bit about written music and the technicalities that are involved. One half of the book is dedicated to written tunes which are difficult to understand unless you had a prior knowledge of written music. You would need to buy his records to be able to follow or understand by listening and copying which is the true and tried method of instruction since time immemorial.

Brilliant product. I'm learning.

Bought this a while ago and am pleased with my progress.
