Headphones are good but the LED lights do not work.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, and it already broke shortly after the return window closed. Seems to be a common issue with products these days. Sure, it's cheaper than most gaming headsets, but is that worth having to buy a new one in 3 months?
