I was recommended this lamp by my tutor from the Royal School of Needlework because it has the option for yellow light which is more kinder to the eyes specially if you are creating for many hours.I particularly like this light because it is super lightweight it’s almost feather weight! It totally folds down making it excellent for traveling with.You can choose how strong you wish to have the light by keeping your finger pressed continuously on the “on” button. By tapping the “on” button takes you through the different types of lights there are available with this light.This light uses LED’s.There is no battery pack and that’s why it’s so light, so if you wish to travel with it, you have the option to use a travel lead or carry a power bank which is what I use so I don’t need to find a power point and I’m ready to set up and go!My own negative comments are there are no instructions with this product, I had to play around with it to figure everything out and the universal lead that came with it is very short which is fine for my needs with a power bank.I hate to admit how much money I’ve spent over the years on craft lights but this is the best value for money I’m come across in a light. It looks sleek, it’s highly functional with it’s different modes of light and different strength of light and it’s incredibly versatile as it’s so portable. It doesn’t get hot if I use it for hours due to the LED’s. It’s very durable. It’s great for people of all ages but it would be particularly great for children when they are doing homework, reading, doing art etc. If it gets accidentally knocked over it doesn’t break. It doesn’t use much power because it’s LED lighting. It’s light enough for children to carry to an event where they need additional lighting if they had a small power bank. It’s kinder to eyes on the yellow setting. I would advise for an adult to show a child how to use this light properly.

I love this lamp, I bought it to go next to my computer and its just a a great little purchase. It has 3 or 4 different light settings that are all though mode. Plus it has a bit on the base for you to sit your phone onto so it's out the way. Highly recommended to anyone

Within a matter of days, this unit started to malfunction. The on/off dimmer swicth started of have a mind of it's own, and would deccided some days not to work at all. The power cable, fits but sometimes does not make a connection, so no power. As I sit here now, the lamp is flickering and has, within the last 5 minutes, gone off and come back on 4 times. The=is makes me think the wirinng inside is pretty suspect, and if not for the fact it is only powered by a usb cable, this would have gone in the bin.I know you get what you pay for, but something that works would be nice.Avoid

It is very lightweight to the point it can fall over very easily. It also feels cheap and very plasticy. The cord that comes with it is very short and cheap. I would not buy this again

I seriously love this lamp so much, it's nice to have a small light in the room when I'm gaming so there's not a huge glare, at night when I crochet it's nice to not be blinded and to have different warmth options, best of all I love how compact it is when I don't need to use it!

Not the best but not the worst aswell. Item gets the job done, however it is limited in its extension from the base. Entire unit is wrapped in a cheap synthetic leather material, and requires a USB attachment for a power source. Additionally, brightness and light contrast can be variable depending on power source. Shipping and delivery was well timed and in a orderly fashion.Overall score 5/10
