Look no further for a Secure and Reliable USB drive.
If you're looking for a high security USB drive then look no further. This device uses AES-256 bit encryption and is pending final certification for FIPS 140-3 Level 3 as a result It feels solid and very tamper resistant while still being compact, light and easy to carry. The USB3 support means you can expect great file transfer speeds. The design is sleek and stealthy. Absolutely perfect for those with sensitive data. However, It is important that people are aware you should NEVER plug a device like this into a computer you have not personally verified as being free of malware. All this physical security means nothing if you unlock it on a device with a keylogger and stealer. A big benefit of this device is that despite having no physical keypad or battery that can wear out it is completely OS Agnostic offering support for Windows, MacOS and even includes Linux support. It might be inconvenient but it is very simple to create a separate bootable USB with a Linux distro like Tails and use this device in a secure environment preferably disconnected from the internet and not have to worry about traditional Windows malware. At bare minimum I would recommend running a full scan using trusted antimalware suits set to aggressive if you plan to use this on Windows and want to lower your attack surface as much as possible. Some might call this paranoia to that I say It isn't paranoia if the threat is real. Also, please do not store your unlock password on anything digital. Write it down and keep it in a secure location. Again, if you're using this device your goal is to lower your attack surface as much as possible. All in all this is an excellent device for storing sensitive documents, backups and anything you would prefer be kept confidential. I can't recommend this drive enough.

Made in USA
I was hesitant on the price, but I trusted the reviews. Surprised by how heavy and well-made it appears. It worked as advertised immediately and am happy with my purchase. Will update if issues.

Effective but expensive solution for protecting sensitive data and info
A very 'solid' encrypted, solid-state (flash) drive (SSD) that is easy to setup and use. Very expensive for the amount of storage. This should be a good solution for protecting intellectual property and other sensitive information, especially when traveling or during shipment. If it were less expensive, I would give it 5 stars.

Good drive no hidden partition
Good USB drive I have been using for years although when they say: Dual Hidden Partition option it's a bit misleading. It loads faster than the old Kingston drive I have and read/write speeds have improved. Security is king and this drive is one of the best although it's not unbreakable as some many lead you to think. It does stand out so be careful with it when traveling. Just make sure it's not the first thing border agents see when searching your bags. There isn't a hidden partition as it says. It's more of a user/admin login partition. I read the manual and I haven't found any "hidden partition". There is an option when setting it up to select if you want only an admin partition or admin/user partition. But there isn't anything hidden. You can see when booting it up which partition you are logging into on the login screen. To switch you simply select the admin button at the bottom of the screen. The nice thing is the user partition has limited functions and can't perform admin duties. So you can give it to someone with the user password and not have to worry that they will change stuff on it (including the passwords). So that was a little disappointing. The only way to create a hidden partition would be to use VeraCrypt hidden file on the drive which you ideally would have encrypted so it would take two passwords to access the file (1st password to unlock the drive and 2nd password to de-encrypt the file). All in all I would recommend this if you travel or need strong encryption but beware that this can be compromised at a government level and does tend to draw attention when out in the open.

Excellent security.
Securely stores data and has a nice amount of space. Of note I forgot my password and lost everything on it, but was a backup of a backup.

Perfection is expensive.
If you work with highly classified data, sensitive corporate proprietary data or are just a fanatic consumer about security, it pretty much stops here. Physically, it's a tank, if you had this on your key ring it could double as a weapon. The software is very easy to use (it's runtime on the device [you don't install anything]) and regarding setup/configuration, can be as simple or complicated as you choose. It is expensive, but it's only "not worth it" if you don't use it. For additional context, I have a feeling this device could be used as a movie prop on a Mission Impossible movie.

Good for Data Security
Works as expected. Would rate 5 stars but it can be slow at launching the software needed to unlock the drive. It does what I need it to do. Once unlocked, speeds are adequate.

Works as described
Amazon operated as usual. If you're serious about data security, then you should check this iron key out. Combine this encrypted data locker with BitLocker to get total protection.
