Great for project cases etc
This is great stuff for making customised padded inserts to cases etc. When the package arrived I was initially disappointed because the four sheets together were only about a quarter inch thick in total and had indentations from the packaging. However, this was simply that they had been compressed for transit. Once I had released them from the shrink wrap they began to expand again. I advise leaving them for at least 24 hours at room temperature for them to fully regain their shape. They cut very easily and I advise using the longest sharpest modelling knife blade you can find, in which case they will cut very easily and cleanly. I used one of the retractable snap-off knives from Stanley, Draper, etc with the blades fully extended. You can also use scissors, but you will get a much cleaner mess-free cut using a long blade modelling knife.

Only 2cm thick not 4cm and it’s not very firm.

Not shadow foam
This is just ordinary foam...It is NOT shadow foam - the description is very misleading. Shadow foam is a different product.It's fine as foam, it comes vacuum packed so needs to be left to bring its shape back.
