Thank goodness for this product. Greedy new car dealer quoted me over $300 to make a new key. I was happy to pay $150 all in for this just to avoid the feeling of being taken advantage of by the dealer. It is shameful that they charge so much all because they feel that they have you. This product lets you escape from this horrible situation.

Daughter has a 2013 Ford Taurus with the push button start (proximity keyfob), dealer only gave her one fob that started to fail. This is an easy process. Download the app, plug the programmer in to the diagnostic port, connect iPhone to the programmer in bluetooth, run the app and follow the app instructions to copy the old fob to the new one. Now need to order another fob so she has a reliable backup!

When I tired to program it to my car (2012 Ford Explorer Limited) it did not work and the battery on the keyfob did not last long. I would not recommend buying this

The fob works great for a 2012 Ford Explorer. It was fast and easy to program. Very happy, especially since it was so much cheaper than the dealer would charge for a new fob.

Did not work for 2014 explorer. Immobilized my car and it was unresponsive. I called a local locksmith and he saved the day! He went through a few odd procedures, and got my original key working again. I decided to purchase a key from him since he was so helpful and offered a warranty on a genuine Ford one that he had. Cost a good bit more than this, but I wish I had just called a locksmith in the first place, which was still less expensive than dealer. Sending this junk back.
