Some of the preceding reviews made us cautious about this product but I have to say that we’ve been impressed. We no longer need to buy night logs as they stay well overnight and catch light without difficulty on the embers, last well and flame beautifully. We are using them in a small wood burner.

I usually lay the fire about 4pm these days. I used these logs for the first time yesterday. Last one was put on the fire about 9pm I think. Then today I went to clean out the grate at 4pm to lay the fire as usual - and a few tiny bits of the logs were still glowing! So ten out of ten for longevity. The logs also look quite nice in the basket as they have some sort of brown paint on them which makes them look like 'real' logs (if you ignore the massive hole in the middle of them).

Dead-easy to ignite but are quite fragile in handling.They do burn hot but don't last as long as previously products used.

These logs are really good. Very clean and easy to use. Throw out hear , light easily. Use them all the time. They only last for approximately half an hour though. Very quick and efficient service. Thoroughly recommend.

Perfect for kindling if broken up a bit which is not difficult. Much better than fire wood and difficult to fail with some of those balls of shavings!

Sorry was expecting more from this product, it says it’s a fast ignition and a long burn but used more kindling and lighters than I would with just logs
