Choung Soo Mul Naengmyeon, Korean Cold Noodle with Soup Base 720g (1 Pack)

My local Asian grocery store does not carry this exact product and alternatives are $15+. This one is my favorite and it's the cheapest! Delicious and refreshing - add the little mustard packet little by little to adjust to taste. It's pretty strong but sooo good!

These are the best naengmyeon noodles, taste is very authentic, but you must cook in boiling water 2-3 minutes and then drain immediately and RINSE in COLD WATER to stop it cooking or it will be gummy and not chewy. It should be bouncy not mushy. The broth needs to be cold as well, sometimes in restaurants they add ice cubes

For the price point, it will get your cold noodle fix in a pinch!

I use this kit as a great starter. With the addition of some cucumbers, ground toasted sesame seeds, pan seared steak, and some Arian pears. This will taste just like the restaurant version.

So many noodles. Could use more flavoring packets, but still the best on the market. Can make 4 huge servings. Good flavor.

Got them and one of the broth packets had popped. Ruined all the noodles. Can't return and it won't let me request a refund.

The flavor of the broth was very subtle. I added the instructed amount of water and it diluted the broth almost completely. The only flavor I could detect at all was sour, and it was overall not great.But I could see how this could be refreshing on a hot day. Noodle quality was very good. Next time I might add my own flavors to amp it up.
