This is a much higher quality staff then you'd find at a typical "Halloween store". Its very well made of a thick hard plastic, with it's sections screwing together instead of just snapping together, which makes it very sturdy. The green globe lens is nicely translucent, with no scratches, and has good color saturation. The light is bright, and lights up the entire green "globe" evenly with an overall glow, and without any hot spots. The price for the quality, is quite reasonable. It shipped quickly, and was packed well.

All the pieces fit together well and the light worked as advertised. Went out trick or treating with the g’kids and it served its purpose as a staff. I didn’t want to spend a lot of $$ for costume stuff and this fit the bill perfectly. Looked great with my Druid costume.

I dressed up as Gandalf for Halloween this year. This staff was cool enough that nobody questioned that it wasn't the exact staff that Gandalf used. I left it disassembled for travel in my suitcase, and then put it together when I needed it. It was easy to assemble. As others have noted, it felt a little flimsy, but it held together well enough that I didn't worry too much about breaking it. A child would probably need to be told to be a little careful, but not overly much. The length was perfect for me, an average sized adult. For shorter people you could leave off one of the segments if you wanted to. Being plastic, it was quite lightweight, and I could pretend to use it as a walking stick or brandish it as a wizardly weapon. The green LED is the best part. It makes it look very cool when it's turned on. At one point, we were in a haunted house, and parts of it were quite dark. This staff kept it from being completely dark, which was a bonus. A flashlight would have worked better, of course, but I hadn't expected to need one, so I was glad for the green LED. Once done, I simply turned off the LED and took the staff apart to pack back into my suitcase. I kept the box so I could store it until next year. I only took off a star because I'd be concerned that a child might break it, and it did wobble slightly. You wouldn't want to use it as an actual walking stick. Given that it was inexpensive, I'm tempted to give the star back for its good value. I'll leave it at 4 stars though, since this could be concerning for some people.

Very pretty. Received a lot of compliments but the stick was very flimsy. It’s 3 pieces that screw together and if you put even just a little weight on it when it’s assembled, it will snap.

I purchased this for my dark fairytale Halloween costume. It's very tall, a great length for a woman. The light is green and bright, just add batteries not included. It's made of strong plastic and is very durable. Lightweight and a great addition to my extensive costume collection

The light up end is nice and bright. Used it for a larp prop and it worked well.

Product looks amazing and we got so many compliments. Unfortunately we went through two of them and both broke within a hour of pulling it out. The stick is hallow and the joints were you screw it together are flimsy. Me just holding it, standing still, for my daughter cause the bottom section to snap.
