I bought this product as an upgrade to another Anker outlet extender, the A9221. Like the A9221, this extender(A9234) has 2 AC outlets and 2 USB-A ports. This extender expands on that by including a 30w max USB-C port (which drops down to 20w when one or both of the USB-A ports is being used) and a folding grounded plug making it easy to store in a bag or throw in your pocket. The plug folds out and away very easily.The AC outlets worked as expected, powering a floor lamp while I charged some devices.The included USB-A port along with an Anker USB to Lightning cable charged and iPhone XS (2658 mAh battery) from 20% to 80% in around an hour. That’s inline with how fast my phone typically charges. It took 20 more minutes to get it to 90%.Using the included USB-C port and an Anker 100w cable, An iPad Pro (10758 mAh battery) charges from 20% to 90% in 25 minutes, 95% in 44min., & 100% in an hour.The last device I tried was with an Apple Watch Ultra using apple’s usbc fast charge cable. From 23% to 80% in 30 minutes, 90% in 43min., & 100% in 1hour 19 min.Overall, I’m very happy with this extender and it will be replacing my previous one, that being said I’m thankful with the 10% discount being offered since the $30 price tag feels a bit steep. It can charge my devices fairly quickly while giving me the option to add up to two higher powered chargers if I need it. The only thing that could make it better would be if it had 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port for those legacy devices as more of the devices we carry around with us are using it.Make note of the included paper, this extender is not meant to be used with extension cords. Which I’m sure includes the increasingly common furniture with outlets. So avoid plugging this into those and stick to actual wall outlets.

I travel frequently for business and like to have plenty of outlets for charging all the electronics I carry with me. Unfortunately, I have twice left behind expanded outlet bars in my accommodations, so I discovered this one as a replacement, and it is excellent. Although not a surge protector, it is best for travel because of its small size and folding prongs. In addition, it accommodates two regular plugs and three USBs of two different sizes. I use it in my older home, too, as a charging hub because my outlets are a bit limited. Just returned from my first road trip with it, and the extender worked perfectly. I discovered the way to prevent leaving it behind: put its small box in my suitcase as a reminder that I should retrieve the extender and repack it before departing a hotel room!

I really like this charger (primarily for the flat design for USB). The grounded prong folds in nicely, it is fairly compact, and it charges a wide range of devices with minimal hassle. Most importantly, it fit well in the crappy cruise ship outlets (which are all loose).Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this for use on cruise ships anymore, as Royal Caribbean just banned devices with outlets on it. I have some of the other chargers with multiple USB A and C ports, but they are too top heavy. It would be great if this design would be changed to remove the plugs and just have USB ports on it. It would be perfect for wall outlets (especially at sea).However, for anyone else traveling to more reasonable parts of North America, this is another reliable and well-built product from Anker.

Anker makes great products. I was really happy to find this outlet splitter which includes USB ports to charge devices. I have this in my kitchen. I can charge my phone and a portable blue tooth speaker while I cook. I wish there was a three plug version.

It looks great, love the little light at night and darker places, but really could be a lot brighter, I mean it plugs in to power! I wish there was something to stop the adapter from sliding out when 2 plugs stay in. But there ARE some plugs that do not work in this!!! I have two new products from upper quality companies that cannot be used, they cause crunching noises if you try to put them in all the way??? If you don’t they slowly slide out. The quality is very good but as with all previous iterations from numerous other companies they fall short of being perfect.

Very glad that I purchased this. I have been using it for over a year. It accompanies me on my frequent travels. And in hotel rooms with minimum charging outlets, this has been useful. Have had no issues with charging my phone and watch overnight. It has not become hot and the ports, outlets have not failed. It does not seem bulky to me and fits snugly to the wall or electric outlet.

Convenient, works well for travel.
