Solid motor
I’ve been running this 3674 3600kv motor in a Typhon 3s for about a year now. The original Spektrum motor worked fine, but I wanted to run a 17t pinion in summer temps without worry. I transferred the stock heatsink and fan to this, and it’s run every bit as cool, if not cooler, as the stock motor did on a 15t pinion. The power delivery is honestly smoother since it has more torque. The 5mm D shaft is almost a direct fit for Arrma pinions, but the flat side has to be extended 3/8” or so in order to accept the full length of the pinion including the grub screw. A file would work, but I used a Dremel with a metal cutter that made short work of it (less than 60 seconds). Alternatively, you could just use a standard round shafted pinion. Great motor for the price.

Fantastic motor! Surprised me how well it’s ran till it didn’t!
I have 3 of these. Well had 3. My two oldest ones are living in an Outcast 4s with an 11t pinion and in a Losi SCTE with a 17t pinion. Recently decided to grab one for my 1/8 buggy. Holy hell. She was fast on 17t pinion bit I didn't like 150°temps on a 60°day. So I dropped the pinion to a 12t pinion. Well the temps dropped down to 110°on an 80°day.ive done about 4 pack through this motor on a grass track and a dirt track. Well low and behold today it failed. I went ahead and ordered another one hoping mine is a fluke. I will keep running these monsters as they are reliable and tank like. I'm certain this was a bad batch. I'm blowing serious air on the motor and trying to keep it cool. If it doesn’t work a second time I'll drop the kv on the next one. Keep an eye on those temps and you will be fine!

A little under spec but decent motor
I purchased this motor as a backup. The price was excellent and shipping was quick. It came well packaged. The motor itself has what appears to be strong magnets, decent overall fit/finish, and minimal labeling. On the motor analyzer it recorded 2069 kV with slightly better than average current draw for that rating. Real world performance will be needed but in my experience this indicates a motor with OK-to-good speed, decent torque, and reasonable heat generation. It's not going to be the fastest but more than enough for most applications. The Hobbystar/Apex thin ribbed motors are still the best options available (low current draw and meet/exceed kV ratings).

Torque Torque Torque
Omg....The torque on this motor is absolutely insane. This motor on 3s makes a ton of power. Well worth it.

Works very well
Works great for price point on my basher slash no mercy is shown and it holds up.

3674 3600kv has issues
So the 3674 came with poorly threaded screw holes that needed to de burred. The motor shaft flat section is long enough for most pinions. The grub screw ends up on the round section. The 3674 is a waste of money and not worth the hassle of making it fit. I should have returned it. I have multiple 3650 3300kv pyre motors that are an amazing value. Very surprised at the quality issues, 3650s have been spot on.

Was a great motor?
I had this motor in one truck for a few months and it has run great! A little hot,but no esc shutoff with hobbywing 120a brushless wbl10. Took motor and esc out off one truck and installed in another truck using identicle reciever and now motor won't work anymore? I took it apart and couldn't find anything wrong or any debri. Bearings are fine, wires are fine, but motor only tries to turn, turns a few revelultions then stops. Before this happened I was extremely happy with the performance in first truck, and now wish I would've left it in there! It was working perfect until I took it out. Oops!! Now it's been a while and I still can't figure out why motor won't work? Even tried using a bigger esc? But it ran beautiful in another RC. But now won't work at all? Just tries ?
