The product is not what is advertised and they have done this purposefully. The description says accuracy to .001 grams and the scale does not even measure less than one gram.I say this is a purposeful misrepresentation because upon searching other products listed by that company there are more reviews just like this one describing the same thing and the product descriptions have not been changed or modified to reflect the truth

I have a KD-8000 which I dearly love. Unfortunately, it's a bit too big to take on a road trip with... and I'm that person that MUST bake, no matter where I go.I needed a 10kg (22lb) scale. Most of the smaller ones only go up to 11lbs. This scale actually came more compact than I expected it to be, which was nice. I tested it against my large scale and have confirmed its accuracy. I prefer these platform scales over those small sleeker looking unibody ones, as these seem to simply be more steady/sturdy.I'm not the biggest fan of the plasticky buttons. But that could just be a personal preference. The scale is compact and accurate, and that's all that matters :)edit: After a few months of use it’s become inaccurate when measuring small quantities.
