UV Light Glue Kit Clear Adhesive Liquid Plastic Welder 5 Seconds Repair Almost Anything

This stuff is great. It's crystal clear, holds like super glue but it has infanite placement time and cures instantly. The only draw back is the high price but that is starting to improve. You put a drop where you need it and then place and position your part. When you have it in position, you zap it with the included uv light and it cures in about 5 seconds. Wonderful stuff. It is kinda stickey and flows like pancake syrup. It's not for every situation but for certain applications it is GREAT! Oh and it is optically clear so it is used in gluing optics. That is what it was originally designed for. One if the things I like it for is rigging model biplanes. Super stuff. It only has a shelf life of about a year so you are better off not to buy large amounts unless you are going to be using a lot of it.

I had a pair glasses that my wife sat on. These were a metal frame with one of the arms broken free from the attachment next to the lens. It was all fine work and needed to be fixed so it would be the glasses that sat beside her computer.The epoxy dispense on one end of the welder worked well to apply and build multi-layers to re-attach the two pieces. I chose to ignore folding up the glasses. I cut small pieces of steel wire to re-enforce the structure. After about four layers of build-up I wrapped the joint in tape and did one metal bend to get it to fit my wife.Note that the same dispense and cure light stick is available, you can probably expect the same from most of them. I chose to buy a single unit since I don't expect to have more uses soon,It came quickly, as Amazon regularly does. It worked as expected, although I found that the cure cycle was easier to set the glasses out in sunlight. The blue light does work well as well.My success was helped by using an old electronic wire soldering jig that let position the two parts well. I also have been using epoxy for about 50 years from when it was a new glue.I am pleased to have used this to achieve what looked like an impossible task. The ability to multi-layer made the joint jo from very weak to something that will work for a long while.

I never leave reviews but…This is the first time I’ve ever used UV Glue and it’s amazing! I use it in my jewelry making and it doesn’t even compare to other glues I’ve used. It doesn’t stick to you fingers like super glue, there’s plenty of time to move things around before you set it into place, it only takes seconds to dry and the bond is amazing. I think that the people leaving crappy reviews must be totally using it wrong and probably not the sharpest tools in the shed..I mean, If you expect to be able to glue your car to the ceiling then you probably shouldn’t buy it. You need to make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned with alcohol and that UV light can penetrate some of the glue…otherwise it wouldn’t need a UV light to cure it…

I used this product to save a pair of Doctor Beats wireless earbuds. I was traveling and sheared the earbud off the earpiece. I thought that was the end of them but the wires where still intact. I considered super glue but have never had much luck with using in on plastics such as this. Then I remembered seeing the TV adds for this UV glue on TV. A few drops of this glue and the ear buds are as good as new. The key was that you have time to adjust the alignment and only have to hold the pieces together until the UV light is applied. The photo shows the repair (arrow).

I had an old decorative item that the metal piece that hooks onto the wooden base broke off many years ago. I ran across it while cleaning and did not want to throw it away but could not find a glue that was strong enough. The stained-glass flower has weight to it, so I needed something much stronger to hold it, and also the metal ring is actually a hair decoration that I thought would be good to replace the original ring that broke. It worked out well and I have it sitting in a window where the light can shine through. I purchased two so I can be ready for other fix-it projects.

I recently developed a small corner chip on my very expensive induction cook top. I called the company and was told that I would have to live with it or purchase a new one. The price was crazy expensive.So I purchased this product and it has worked perfectly. I did this over a year ago and waited to review to make sure it was that good. It is. This is a great product and I am glad I spent time on the Internet and found this available. It really does work.

Very easy tiny tip to apply clear glue. Have the uv light on and shine on area that's been glued. Saved me from having to buy new frames. I popped my lenses back in and it all took under 5 minutes or less! Incredible stuff!

When you have a place where regular glue or epoxy just won't work, this is the solution.I've used this now to repair so many household items, that I had to order the Bondex refills.Imagine fixing a piece of glass artwork and not having the ugly glue lines or fixing a pair of glasses without using a big dollup of glue. My wife's glasses broke at the right hand hinge. After carefully preparing the area, aligning the earpiece with the glasses themselves, I used a small amount of the product to "spot weld' the pieces together. After being sure all parts were properly in place, I then applied more of the product, and used the UV light to harden the repair. To be sure the area hardened properly, the glasses were put into the sun for an hour or so, so that the UV in the sun's rays hardened the product completely. A REALLY GREAT PRODUCT.

Instruction are minimal. Do not stipulate how many seconds UV light needed to properly cure the product.Have tried 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds and product was still tacky, needed to submit the product to over one minutes to get rid of tackiness (almost). Even so, product doesn't become very hard, it had a rubberized texture and cannot be sanded or shape. Fingernails still could mark the product. After "curing" product had a light milky color.Normally thin coat are require for this type for product but not easy to do since the product is gel type not liquid.Give one star the lowest evaluation available but deserve 0 star.
