Univen Replacement Bottom Screw Cap Fits Hamilton Beach

The screw cap for the bottom of the blender got melted in the dishwasher and I dreaded the thought of having to buy a new blender.But wait! I checked Amazon and found this replacement screw cap. Easy to order, received it ahead of schedule.It looked like it was slightly larger than the old one, but I put in the blades and it screwed on just fine.Put the items in the blender (including liquids) and held my breath.It works great! Fits perfectly. No leaks. My 20+ year old blender is saved and going strong!

Not satisfied at all. This cap cracked around the whole circumference after two uses:(

The blender used to leak and we were considering buying a new one, but then I decided to look for this on a whim. The ring had just gotten old and cracked through, the blender is now good as new and still working great!

This does not fit my Hamilton Beach blender unit. It fits on the base of the pitcher ... but it does not sit into the blender base where it needs to be to operate the blender. It's if it isn't wide enough. When I looked back and my order - I noticed it said this product was not eligible for return. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation (it simply doesn't fit as the write-up implied); so Amazon has refunded my money. I'm thankful for fair and rapid Amazon customer service. .

At first, I was hesitant to buy this since I read someone else's bad review.However, I am so glad that I bought this replacement cap. It saved me at least $20 and now my blender is nearly as good as new! The blender pitcher leaks if it has been in the fridge for 24 hrs. or so, but I may not have screwed it in tightly enough. MUCH BETTER THAN BUYING A NEW ONE!
