BLUTLOTUS Keyboard Case for iPad 9th/8th/7th Generation 10.2 inch 2021/2020/2019, iPad Pro 10.5-inch Case with Keyboard,iPad Air 3 2019, 7 Color Backlit Removable Bluetooth Wireless(Purple)

This review is based primarily from my wife's feedback as I bought it for her, although I have used it a little myself just for testing.The first one I ordered didn't work at all, it would go dead the second it was detached from the USB charger. My wife really wanted one though, and this had great reviews, so I exchanged it for another and the second has worked great.it's well made, sturdy, and the iPad second gen clips right in. She doesn't have a pen but there is a space for one so I can't comment on how it works.It charges with a USB-C adapter, holds a charge a long time, and the keyboard itself hold the bottom of the iPad in place when it's propped open. The kickstand keeps it sturdy, the red backlight is a very good choice as it's easiest on the eyes in the dark, and once connected - itself an easy process - it works just like a regular keyboard. The volume and brightness controls reflect immediately on the iPad, the media player controls work in everything including YouTube, and it has all the command, control, alt, function and other keys from both Mac and PC keyboards.My wife has praised it over and over, and sometimes when using it will say 'I love this keyboard' or 'this keyboard is so great.' It has converted the iPad into a not-quite PC and really expanded, at least for her, what it can be used for.Once we got one that worked, it has worked great.

The only issue I've had with this is that when open, it makes an acute angle with a narrow base, leading to the iPad being a bit "tippy" when scrolling. The keyboard part works well, though.

I really like this cover. The silicone sleeve protects the edges of my iPad and provides a place for my Apple Pencil to be secure and protected without obscuring the screen.The portfolio is sturdy and allows the iPad to rotate so it can be in either portrait or landscape mode. The silicone sleeve that surrounds the iPad is detachable from the portfolio and is held in place by a magnet. The keyboard is also removable and held in place by a magnet. The keyboard is a nice size, works well, was easy to pair via Bluetooth and has a backlight in multiple colors. The keyboard does sit on top of the grooves in the portfolio that allows the portfolio to act as a stand with 3 adjustable angles. So, the keyboard has to be removed to use this feature.The portfolio as a stand works best on a desk. When working with the iPad in my lap it is easier to remove it from the portfolio. The keyboard is also a little awkward when using in my lap due to its light weight and size. A lap desk of some kind is helpful.My only complaint is that the sleeve and the portfolio have shallow nesting circles that attach the two via internal magnets. This allows the iPad to rotate while still being attached to the portfolio. When I opened the box, these were nested properly allowing the camera holes in the sleeve and portfolio to line up and the flap to close. Unfortunately, I've only been able to successfully line this up a few times. The more I use it the more difficult it has become. It's like the magnet has reversed polarity and they now repel each other as you can see by the circle floating above the iPad in the picture. If the circles are offset slightly then they attract but then I can't close the portfolio. Not sure how to fix this.**UPDATE**I’ve continued to use this cover and I’ve noticed that I can get the circles on the back of the silicone sleeve and the portfolio to fit together properly more often. When I’m at home, I usually use my iPad without the portfolio, sometimes for days at a time. I am substitute teacher and I use the portfolio to pack my iPad and as a stand when I’m at school. It seems to me that if the magnets in the portfolio and sleeve are repelling each other, keeping them separate for several days helps resolve this.

I love this case, the magnetic keyboard, and the space for the apple pencil, but suddenly, after a few months, 2 of the letters and the space bar just stopped working. I reached out to customer service and after I documented the problem, they immediately sent out a brand new keyboard case! I am so impressed. Works perfectly now!

Fit my iPad perfectly. Good quality. Keyboard was very easy to sync. The backlight on the keyboard is a great feature and makes typing easy. I highly recommend this case. A real value for the money.

This keyboard and case was actually better than expected, however I do not like the feel of the case’s texture, it just irks my quirks. It is maybe a bit funny about getting marked/stained, but again the case and keyboard are very nice, impressive almost. The ability to change the backlight color on the keyboard is really awesome. I will say the keyboard said to charge 6 hours first but the keyboard would not charge for even 2 full hours before turning off, so it must have been charged enough on delivery. Aside from my personal quirks with textures and sensory stimulation, this is a great product, especially for the value. If it was smoother and more satin it would be the bees knees!

Honestly loved the keyboard and the case, however my keyboard has randomly broken to where a decent amount of the keys don’t work anymore. I have only had the case and keyboard for two months. When I got the first case I had to get it replaced because my keyboard did not work at all, the replacement keyboard has been working great until now. I guess the case is pretty but not worth the money I spent since I really only chose it for the keyboard.

Received the keyboard before the posted date. Keyboard fit well to the iPad, paired up easily and worked great. We love the lighted keyboard feature.

Worked great at first but after one charge, the keyboard no longer worked and would not charge. I opened up the keyboard and saw that the battery inside came unplugged. Plugged it back in and put the screws back in and now it works great again.

The iPad case arrived in a few days and it was as pictured. Excellent value. There were several colours to choose from. The keyboard easily connects to your network and the case allows for a pen as well. I did purchase a second one to gift.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly, first thoughts? It’s amazing. It’s super sturdy on the outside, it’s not too hard to put my pencil in or get it out the holder, connecting to Bluetooth was super easy - the light backdrop is an added feature too.The magnetic is not that great but it holds it down securely but be careful when opening it just in case. Some of the keys are just a little wonky too but it’s nothing serious. The delete button turns of your iPad for you and the caps lock (if you have a second language on) changes between English and my other language. The shift works for caps though so it’s sort of a fixed problem 😅 I have a charger already for the keyboard but they should’ve added a compatible one just in case. I also don’t know long it lasts without a charge but we’ll see! Hopefully it holds off long and I don’t need to get a new one in a long time!
