Excellent product!
It took a while to make the decision on this set but it was a perfect choice for me. I love the carrying case so I can transport it safely. Everything was packed perfectly safe and just beautiful. I will enjoy making tea!

Matcha Bowl Developed Crazing With First Use
The tea cloth I was sent has imprecise embroidery. The matcha bowl pinged and developed crazing with the first bowl of matcha I drank. It even continued to ping and developed more crazing after it was room temperature. It is not safe for use with food. I sent the item back for a refund. From my view point, it is decorative only which is sad for me because I would have very much loved to have enjoyed a proper one. "Crazing is often seen as an interesting visual element, but from a food safety point of view, crazed ware is unacceptable. Crazing can severely weaken a piece and provide space where water can enter and saturate the clay if it's not completely vitrified. The cracks may also harbor bacteria if not sanitized regularly."- Seattle Pottery Supply
