KampaPrivvy Utility Tent

The tent is rather fiddly to put up. The “MAN /WOMAN” picture on the tent is rather too obvious. Poorly packed. When trying to put the tent the plastic ends on the roof poles came off. I had to put them back on with glue; surely this should be done in manufacture?

Bought for a Scout Camp and when opened from new, two guy lines were missing. Fortunately had more than enough spare rope but perhaps a little more attention in the packing process would be helpful. Also the metal 'pin pegs' are virtually useless when the wind gets up.

Pegs are very cheap and ours blew over in a moderate windy night. And yes I did them correctly I’ve been camping all my life. As the corners are plastic once it blows over it over stresses them and you have no working toilet tent. Shame as the rest seemed normal Kampa quality. So buy better pegs too and avoid our problem

This tent seems ok but I decided to return mine as the folded down package is quite a large D-shape making it bulky to pack in the car boot. I would have preferred a bundle package like a small tent. This isn't clear from the product description or Kampa web site. btw The base ground sheet is only attached by velcro in the corners and not all the way around.

I have put the tent up in the house just to test it out and it seems fine. The only thing that I don't like about the product is the toilet symbol on the door which is totally unnecessary for personal use.

We were very disappointed with the quality of this privvy tent. You have to be careful where you pitch this tent, as if the sun is shining on it, you can see the silhouete of the person inside.When it rains the top cover sags and fills with rain water which hangs precariously over your head.Not the quality we expected from Kampa!

Great Privvy tent easy to put up and take down, folds neatly and flat into its own carry holdall, with a little bit of Velcro and sewing was able to hold up our portable shower head and shower comfortable. great for us
