GlyMed PlusAge Management Gentle Facial Wash, 8 Ounce

I have terrible, genitic, systic acne. After two rounds of Accutane, and every topical ointment available in the pharmacy, including every infomercial acne system, I had given up hope my acne would clear up (at 30 years old). I decided to see an esthetician before my wedding, and she gave me some serious chemical peels, along with this face wash, a Glymed No.2 astringent, Glymed AHA accelrator, Glymed Benzyol peroxide solution, and a Viviar Skin lotion SPF 30. My skin was finally clear, and flawless for my wedding ! Using a Clarsonic and this regiment daily kept it that way! I continue to get a chemical peel a few times a year to help with seasonal/humidity acne, but my skin is one million times more managable. One last VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: ALWAYS USE A MAKEUP REMOVER BEFORE YOUR "FACE WASH" it is not meant to do both. That alone cut about 25% of my acne before even buying this product.

I love the Glymed products. These are the first products that I've found that really make a difference for my skin. I was suffering from acne and I learned from my cosmetologist that I was using products that were too harsh. These products had just the right amount of treatment and my skin looks great. Not sure why some reviewers complain about the thickness of the product. It is thin but I only need to use a very small amount and it's very effective. It lasts a long time and is worth every penny!

Recommended by my facialist. It leaves my face feeling clean, soft and bright. The bottle is lasting me forever, and I usually use two pumps—one for face and neck, one for chest. I use this in combo with oxygen deep cleanser, brightening treatment, and their treatment cream at night, as prescribed by said facialist, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

This is the most amazing product I’ve ever used and I only use high quality name brand 😊😊😊I’m 60 and going to start using more of this line because this is my 3 rd bottle of cleanserAnd it lasts a very long time 🤗

I've used this product for over a year now..its been a game changer for my skin tone..clarity...texture..just..really great!..Buy it!

Love this product and so glad I could get it on here. The pump was broken when it arrived. I had saved my old bottle until this one arrived so I could use my old pump. Not upset about it, more just wanted to let the packaging person know for future.

This is a strange review to write because I have no proof (I am a normal person without a lab), but I strongly suspect that this product is a fake. I have been using this cleanser for years, but this one is very different. It is much thicker, it smells different, it does not lather nearly as much, and it made me break out (a lot). I thought that maybe Glymed just changed their formula until I visited my mother and borrowed her new bottle. It had the old, familiar smell, was thicker, and it lathered very well on my face. Also, after a two day visit, my face cleared up (not due to less stress--believe me!) so apparently the product has not changed.I did contact the company and they said that they are an authorized retailer, and "unless something happened while it was waiting to be shipped by Amazon" it must be real. I found that answer to be unsatisfying because I am still left with a product that makes me break out. So, you have been warned!

I was so excited when I received my Glymed in the mail since this face wash is one of my favorite products. However, the formula in this bottle seemed way more watery and not the consistency that I'm used to. I am hesistant to use it so I went to the salon down the street, purchased the Glymed GentleFace Wash from there and it's a very different consistency. I'll be returning the Glymed sold from Amaxon / Primitive Health.
