Our puppy figured this out in no time with treat rewards. What a great way to help maintain nails and reduce the amount of times we have to clip the nails. Clipping nails can be stressful for both us and the puppy, so this has been a lifesaver! Figuring out the hind legs is more difficult but possible. Great videos are available on YouTube!

Seems like it would work really well but having trouble getting either of my pups to engage with it! It is as described and seems good but am not sure the best way to get the pups to use it.

I was looking for something a little different to help keep my dogs nail filled down. I found that is this dog bone shaped scratch pad. It only took 5 minutes to train my dog how to scratch his nails down the pad. To be honest I thought it was going to take much longer than it did. The other 2 dogs I have took even less time after watching my 1st dog figure it out. I hold a treat up and got him to do a high five and drag his nails down it. This seems to be made well and comes with 2 extra black and green sanding pads. You could probably get a cat to use this as well if you car is smart enough.

The nail dog scratch board comes exactly as described and pictured, and seems fairly sturdy and well built for this sort of thing. The extra pads make it so you could put it down somewhere without it sliding. It's the training part that's really difficult, though that's no fault of the board, but they do seem to usually suggest training with it up on an angle, and you'll have to find a way to prop this one up like that yourself. Still, you are definitely getting what you are ordering.
