Scotch Masking Tape General Purpose Removes Cleanly 25mmx50m Ref 28312550 [Pack of 9]

I run art classes and one thing I've learned is that cheap masking tape is a false economy. Either it doesn't stick, or it sticks too much, or only sticks to itself. This is just perfect for taping down watercolour paper, it removes easily and leaves the paper behind...and we also use it for hinging artwork in frames and general masking. Good alround and a reasonable price. Recommended

This is the second lot I've bought of this tape I think it sticks well, But like 1 or 2people have said it does pull the paint of the emulsion paint of the wall now and again.It happened to me on the last job that I did and had to repaint this part again. But for the price I will still use it.

It's hard to get excited over masking tape, but I'll give it a go...This tape is like no other, it's only what other tapes dream to be. One thing I genuinely am impressed by is how innovative 3M are - their glue technology is far ahead in the distance compared to any competitor, so when we masked our house to redecorate (the wife's idea, I tried to put her off..) we found we'd be leaving the tape on for a few days before removing it.At this stage, with OTHER tapes we generally find one of the following then occurs:A) The tape falls off before we start paintingB) The tape gets dislodged by the paintbrush and becomes your worst enemy, a sticky, paint-covered uncontrolled mess smearing the life out of your formerly-masked areaC) The tape is a nightmare to remove after paintingBut then this 3M Scotch masking tape struts on in, masks our house to the teeth, does its job perfectly and then is a doddle to remove.If I ever need masking tape again, it'll be this stuff I purchase. If this is never available again, well it's not a world I want to live in.

I'm an art student and get through masking tape as if it is going out of fashion. I've tried various brands but they didn't seem to hold for very long. I began searching and found this offer. It' a good brand, lasts a long time and has saved me some money, so overall it's brilliant in my eyes.

All other makes of masking tape will let you down. Too sticky. Not sticky enough. Pull off wall paper or paint. Or stick to itself. This one won't. It's consistently the best.

I only bought this item as it being sold as [Scotch Masking Tape General Purpose Removes Cleanly 25mmx50m} it come as { 3M 101E Value Masking Tape } an yes there is a difference in the tape as 3M is very tacky hence why I don't use 3M tape an was shopping for Scotch Removes Cleanly! I see this a lot now days online businesses are poorly run if you can support your local businesses.

This is a cheap version of masking tape and it pulls off paint and the surface layer of wallpaper which means that's largely a waste of time. I recommend buying better stuff at B&Q.

Not sure if I got a different batch to other reviewers on here but the masking tape I have is not sticky enough!I use it to hold paper to a a drawing board which has a gloss surface. It removes from the paper no problem but hardly sticks at all to the board. Other masking tapes will do fine.So, I won't give it a bad mark. It will be fine for masking a painted wall but for the job I wanted it for, it's not good.
