Knaack 695 Caster Set with Brakes, 6" (Pack of 4)

No hardware included and no paperwork/instructions. Most people purchasing these large wheels are installing them on job site boxes, which is exactly why I purchased them. For the price paid, these should come with the carriage bolts, nuts, washers, and lock washers. These are heavy duty wheels and appear to be good quality. The two wheels that swivel actually have zirc fittings on them so the bearings can be greased. However, no paperwork/instructions come with, so unknown if these already have grease, need to be greased, maintenance interval; nothing. I had to go to Home Depot and sort through that mess of hardware to find 16 of each piece of mounting hardware (bolts, nuts, etc) and spend just shy of an additional 35 bucks. You can’t imagine how frustrating it is to open the box and realize that you need to take additional time to go and get the hardware, not to mention having to measure out the bolt pattern, mounting holes, etc.For the price, not including hardware, not happy. I didn’t return them because that is a hassle and I needed them anyway. It was less aggravating to get the hardware vs. returning and sourcing wheels somewhere else. I ordered these to save me time running around, calling places, etc. I Opened the box and was like ... yep figures... gotta go waste more time and money now.Suggestion.... State in the listing that NO HARDWARE included. Too expensive to NOT include hardware.

The casters appear to be well made. I have not been able to use them due to no mounting bolts being included. The mountings are threaded for a specific bolt and I have not got a match. It does seem to me that the casters should include the bolts to mount them.

put the bolts in with it. i should have bought the cheaper set because it came with the bolts. Jerks.

Nice set of wheels heavy duty service

Great set of casters. Heavy duty, well made of good quality materials these will give years of service without the issues cheap box store sets run into.

My Knaack box has "closed" skids. This means the underside cannot be accessed to run a bolt thru and then screw on a nut. Knack generously supplies with the order the hardware for both "closed" and "open" skid designs. The problem with the closed skids self-tapping bolts is that they are the wrong diameter (at least for my box). They were too large-- way too large-- so I enlarged the hole on the skid but the self tapping design of their bolt design is flawed. It didn't work. I was initially excited to use their self-threading bolt since I had never heard of that concept. I have used all the many different self-tapping screw designs, but a self-threading bolt-- cool! Wish it worked.

Fit my Ridgid gangbox perfectly. I wish I had purchased these when I bought my gang box.They roll right over extension cords on the jobsite. They are beefy and seem like they will last forever.They are worth the money.

Had to drill slightly larger holes in our Knaack box, but the casters work well. We were kicking ourselves that we didn't get some earlier. Work great!
