We purchased this item for our bathroom shower as the description said good for showers etc. i followed the instructions...but the grab bar pulled away from our wall while the other fell off overnight...this product is dangerous and could cause serious damage to a person counting on it for support. cona cted amazon refused to give me a refund even though it was within the return date....beware

Now that my wife and I are in our 80's, I thought it best we should get this for getting in and out of the shower. It's perfect and was easy to install. It will not hold on a grout line, so make sure you have enough space on the tiles. You can use this also where you have some steps and you need a little support. Just make sure your surface is clean and smooth.
