First Colony Whole Bean Coffee, French Roast, 24-Ounce

I was very scheptical at first because there is little aroma and the beans seemed very dried out, but I am liking the flavor so...go figure. I am Very Disappointed though because the description claims it to be organic but no where on the bag does it say organic or have an organic stamp. So it must not actually be organic. For this reason I will probably not reorder.

This is not organic like the others. I was looking for an organic dark roast (which seems to be difficult to find at a reasonable price) and in looking at this brand of coffee all types were organic except this one which I did not notice until I received it.

If you like coffee that tastes great, has a variety of blends and beans and want to know it comes from a source that considers humanity and fair trade this is the product for you.

It is OK. I actually meant to re-order another coffee and accidentally ordered this. I guess. It is nice as an after dinner coffee.

My coworker and I buy this coffee for our French Press at work. We are considered the office coffee snobs when in reality we just like good strong coffee. The stuff our other coworkers make in the standard coffee pot is weak and disgusting.There is better coffee out there . . . although you will not find it with any of the major nation wide brands (looking at you Starbucks) . . . but for an every day coffee at a good price you cannot do much better. I just wish I still had my local source so I would not have to buy it online.

First Colony Whole Bean French Roast coffee is a deep, dark, smooth tasting coffee with absolutely no bitter after-taste. I use three heaping tablespoons (having ground the beans just prior to putting them in my Krups coffeemaker) to 16 ounces of cold water and enjoy the most wonderful coffee I've found in a long time. I'm going to order it again very, very soon and would highly recommend it to all those looking for a perfect cup of coffee.

Don't know how the coffee is but the packaging was the pits. I canceled immediately when the coffee beans were strewn all over the box. Canned goods, which didn't need it, were CAREFULLY packed......while the cello bag was loose in the box with other items. Split and got all over.Haven't even tried the coffee yet so can't comment on it's quality but in any case, won't be buying it again.

I have been buying this coffee for 6 years now. The flavor is rich and smooth with no acidic after taste. It already arrives on time and is well packaged.
