KuKoo 3 x Kitchen Pull Out Soft Close Baskets, 300mm Wide Cabinet, Slide Out Wire Storage Drawers

We have 2 awkward 30cm cupboards in our new kitchen which are fairly impossible to use well with just shelves in them as they are so deep, the back of a shelf is pretty inaccessible. These were a bit fiddly to fit (would have been easier if we had drilled the holes for the runners before assembling the cupboards) but fine with a bit of patience and they are well worth the effort. They are well made, feel robust and have a good capacity. Now I can really use those narrow cupboards - i have filled the drawers with food tins etc and they pull out easily and the soft-close means nothing clanks about. I was skeptical about the price when I ordered them but they were a good investment.

Good quality steel baskets. Well finished, with no sharp edges to catch fingers. Smooth runners give a quality feel. Great for organising our cupboards and for retrieving the items that tended to get pushed into the back corners. Fitting the runners to the cupboards is a bit of a task, but not too hard for a competent DIYer.

Overall these seem good. I was lucky in that it came set at a width which fitted exactly but there’s a small amount of adjustment to allow for different carcass thicknesses. The instructions are terrible. It has a tiny illegible sketch of something which does not look like the brackets and says to mount x mm back from the cupboard edge. To what? The holes? The end of the runners, the baskets? Basically you’re on your own with fitting. A paper template would lift the experience immeasurably. That said, they are not too bad to fit. You’ll need to work out your positioning by plopping the basket with the two brackets attached into your cupboard. Try it with basket in and out. I ended up positioning ours quite far forward so that as much of the basket is out of the cupboard when pulled out. Height wise, they don’t seem to droop much when loaded (at least not with a full load of spice and herb jars) as the baskets are sturdy. So we managed to get a couple of these into the top half of our cupboard despite there being one fixed shelf. You lose a bit of the width of the cupboard, but if you’re fitting two you gain space. They also extend further forward than some shelves so that helps a little. You’ll need a level, a Philips screwdriver and if fitting to a 300mm cupboard, a smallish drill with a shortish drill bit. They’re good once fitted although they need a good yank at the beginning to pull out. They don’t run back in very well and need a good shove to get them to the self closing bit. Some of this could be my imperfect fitting as I’m sure if the runners are not level back to front and left to right this must make them slide less freely. But the runners and their self closing action does feel stiff compared to others. Probably works fine on the larger drawer widths, but not so good on 300mm. Bad enough that they’re not hugely satisfying to use, but not bad enough to annoy. Overall a very good addition to create a bit more space.

Bought this pack of 5 to replace shelves in half cupboards. Easy enough to install, albeit very fiddly trying to get into a half cupboard to make screw holes etc, so a bit of patience is needed. However, once in, they're sturdy and pull out easily so no more scrabbling to the back of the cupboards and finding items well past their sell by date, or kitchen equipment that hasn't been used for years. As others have mentioned, some storage space is lost as the shelves themselves are a little thinner than expected, because of the side fittings, but this is more than made up for by being able to use everything in the shelves, and in one cupboard I was able to create an extra space by having 3 instead of the 2 shelves previously. They're not cheap, but a pack of 5 works out to be better value, and they'll certainly pass the test of time, so all in all a good buy. I would certainly recommend.

Fitting the second one was easy! The first one was a big puzzle.

En lo positivo, muy práctico y cómodo para buscar algo en un cajón, como parte negativa, se pierde mucho espacio, tanto por los lados como por el fondo. sería bueno unas guías que se pudieran anclar en la base y un mayor ancho del cajón.

Cestelli robusti e idonei per mobile basso da 30 cm. di larghezza, 7nel cucinino. Rispecchiano fedelmente le misure del distributore. Istruzioni semplici. Un po' di contursionismo nel fissare le guide laterali, considerato la misura del mobile, ma alla fine il risultato e' stato soddisfacente. Che dire, ho sfruttato al massimo lo spazio e ho semplificato la vita a mia moglie. Lo consiglio.

Los materiales son de buena calidad, pesan mucho y esto es un inconveniente a la hora de montarlo para un mueble de cocina de estas dimensiones. No os creáis que vais a ganar espacio al mueble para almacenamiento, es al contrario, pero si lo que estás buscando es comodidad y organización cumple perfectamente con su función. Las instrucciones de montaje no son las mejores, no vienen en español. Yo no estoy acostumbrada a montar este tipo de estructuras, me costó bastante esfuerzo y varios intentos para que quedara como yo pretendía. Una vez instaladas, no tengo ningún comentario negativo, quedan muy bien. Una cosa muy útil que incluye, es que las guías poseen dos posiciones, en la que una de ellas actúa como freno para cuando el cesto está muy cargado y éste tiene tendencia a salir por su propio peso.
