This cylinder replaced one that was leaking down on one of our office chairs. It is extremely easy to replace and worked flawlessly. You just give the base a tap and it falls off. You then use a pair of pliers to pull the top out of the bottom of the chair. Then you sit the base of the cylinder in the base and put the chair on the cylinder top. Sit down and it all will seat together. That's it and your back in business. It lifts quickly and holds the chair up perfectly. A good buy.

disappointed searched for a while to get a chrome chair gas lift finally found you had it , but i received a black one instead of chrome, needed it so bad had to be satisfied with the black. it works fine looks crappy
