I grew up in Southern California and now live in Florida. I look for anything California related whenever I can get it. This came across my feed and knew I had to snag it. I lived 5 minutes away from UCI property when I first got married and loved the area. I never attended UCI but highly considered it. This is my simple little homage to home. It's comfortable and looks really cool. 5 stars!

Hats generally are not my thing, but with my recent experience with chemo, I knew that I might need to start wearing a hat to cover my baldness and keep my head warm. I didn’t want a plain hat- I wanted something with at least a little bit of lettering, so I chose this Desert Cactus University of California Irvine Baseball Hat.This hat is made from cotton, so it is very soft to the touch and feels comfortable on your head. The lettering on the front fealties the letters U, C, and I, intertwined with each other. The letters are embroidered, so they won’t wear off, and they are gold against blue, so they stand out. Many people won’t even know that this is meant to represent the University of California- Irvine, so that makes this a good choice for those who want something on their hat, but not something that will draw obvious attention.The back of this hat has an adjustable strap to make it tighter or looser. I have a larger than average head, so for me, the hat is snug, even in the loosest position. Still, I like this type of adjustment mechanism better than that of other hats, many of which feature a strap with five or six holes. The moveable strap that you get with this hat makes for a more precise adjustment.I’m not a hat- wearer by any stretch, but I have found that the need for a hat is greater now that my hair is slowly falling out. This is a good quality hat and the only issue I have with it is that it’s not really made for people with larger than average heads. Other than that, it’s a good hat overall.

Received the ball cap an was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Very nice embroidery of the logo. The cap material was also soft and the stitching looked top notch. This cap is equal to or superior to what you could purchase at the UC Irvine bookstore. Looks like it will provide years of enjoyable use.

This is a well-made University of California - Irvine cap! High quality! Classic baseball-style cap! Fits well! School colors are just right! Looks great! Comfortable to wear! Has a strap in the back to adjust for proper fit. Our family has two generations of UCI alumni. We are happy to add a new UCI cap to our family collection!

I don't know about you, but I'm going to be in California and I want to make sure that people there don't think I'm some out-of-touch east coaster. To help, I decided to dress up in a baseball cap that really shows where my loyalties lie - with the regal Anteater.No, but I needed a hat and I like the color scheme of this hat. It fits comfortably, with an adjustable band and the bill is curved just enough. The stitching is well-made and I find that the material feels good in the hand. I managed to walk out in the rain as well and it was able to keep the most off my head, though some leaked in (ewww) even in a pretty light rain.So if you want a nice hat or to show your fealty, either way it's a good purchase.

This is my favorite hat. It fits perfect and is comfortable to wear. The design and color of the hat is exactly as shown in the product picture. The hat is stylish and keeps its shape well.

fits great and is great merch to rep UCI

This is the 2nd hat I ordered from this company and both times they arrived in plastic bags crushed. They really should be individually boxed. Plastic bags are good for keeping the dust away, but does do little to help keep it's shape. It does come with a soft cardboard in the band but it too was crushed. The color is deep and rich and the logo is nice and clear. I like the snap hidden behind the buckle, that is a nice touch. For the price I would expect it to arrive factory fresh and pristine, not hucked into a sack and hope for the best. I am disappointed, this could be a great hat.
