This earring set features two styles of flat, round screw back studs. Style A) Tiny round cubic zirconias. Style B) Tiny, smooth spheres. Both styles are high set and protrude up from the earlobe’s surface. More so, than any earrings I’ve worn before. I am obsessed with their petite size and simplistic yet timeless appearance. Due to the small size of the round screw backs, putting them in can be challenging. I did lose a couple of the backs in the beginning due to them loosening on their own but all of the backs aren’t like that. So routinely check them to maintain a secure fit. They haven’t tarnished or irritated my skin so far and I wear them 24/7. They have held up through outdoor activities in Fl weather, sweat, hot showers and sleep. Haven’t read too many of the reviews since I’ve purchased, but I do have to say that I absolutely love love love this set. I recently had a few new piercings in my ears and needed to replace the obtuse studs used (which I switched out with these) because the long stud prongs scrape my neck and kill me at night trying to sleep on them. THESE are good quality, beautiful looking, minimalist - which I love, and aren’t too long with a comfortable screw backing.

I've had these for about seven months. I want to love them. They are surgical steel and not only do they screw in but they don't have crevices to collect gunk like normal earrings so you can wear them long term and just wash them in the shower. BUT. The backs fall off all the time. For some reason especially my upper ear piercings. Like I have one in my nose and it has never come unscrewed. But helix piercings the backs might stay on a couple of days. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge that I have a fixation with my ears and touch and mess with them quite frequently through out the day. Just something I've done since childhood that I could see causing them to come loose. But if I want to continue wearing them I will have to buy more to replace the backs I've lost. Maybe they'd be better with an extra thread or two.

The backs are ridiculously difficult to get on and if you even think of them while wearing them they fall off.
