Would not buy again
Was difficult to find a mushroom ketchup similar to the one I used years ago.The bottle had leaked on arrival and lost about 25% , label was saturated so could not read ingredients. I informed the seller but no response....This one is nothing like my previous one and is very acidic and thin.AFG

Indispensible essence
My husband finds the mushroom ketchup a handy and practical addition to some pasta dishes/pizza dishes. Occasionally adding a dash to a cream of wild mushroom soup but it comes into it's own when added to the mixture that is our vegetarian chickpea/chestnut mushroom/sauteed onion roast or pate but we prefer it as a roast. Has a good shelf life and gives an additional depth of flavour.

Lovely product
Lovely product, great flavour. I'm using it as a flavouring in old fashioned receipts and to make instant stock. Would buy again. A little goes a long way and stores in the fridge easily.

Adds a good depth of flavour.
I’ve tried substituting other things for mushroom ketchup but having bought the proper thing realise that the depth of flavour is much better. It does say on the bottle to use within 4 weeks of opening and I pretty sure that I won’t use it all in that time.

Contains gluten. Otherwise brilliant product.
Contains gluten which I didn't notice when I bought it. However, thinking back to my pre gluten-free days I found this an invaluable addition to stews, shepherds pies, and any mushroom dish that needed a bit of extra depth of flavour. Not easy to find in supermarkets but you'll be glad you tried it.

Nice but not mushroom flavour
Has a nice strong flavour but not mushroom. It's a runny liquid more like Worcestershire sauce and tastes like Worcestershire sauce.I had it mixed in with spaghetti bolognese last night and it was good. Save your money buy bog standard Worcestershire sauce.

Old fashioned Mushroom taste
Mushroom ketchup is not as easy to get in the shops, I use to be able to get all time but then places stopped selling it.Added to steak & kidney pies or stews it adds that extra taste.

A great veggie replacement for Worcestershire Sauce
When I went veggie many moons ago I was disappointed to learn I wouldn't be able to have my Worcestershire sauce. I was so pleased to find an alternative. Can't recommend enough.
