Purchased for my mom. The detectors give me piece of mind that she will be alerted in the event of a carbon monoxide problem within the home.Highly recommend.

Test alarm is loud. It has never went off so I guess that's a good thing. I'll have to do a controlled test on it soon.

Works as described, smaller than normal units
Works fine smaller diameter than usual fire detectors ived owned so didn’t fit original mount I have installed but no issue in terms of quality

small, battery powered
i needed another detector so picked this one upit's small, and light. it is not plug in; it is battery powered with 2 AA's. it comes with a couple screws and anchors to mount it.set up was fine. pop the batteries in and it runs a set up cycle. the directions are ok they're in English but could be written better. you can see what to do though.i have no comment how well it detects carbon monoxide- the unit shows it's on and i haven't had any alarms which is good!

Defective?
I read the instructions and set it up. In the Bedroom alarm went off in a little more than an hour plus it indicated 58ppm. same in the hallway, same in the garage and same on the front porch. IS THIS UNIT DEFECTIVE?

The media could not be loaded. Has a digital display to show you exactly what the carbon levels are I took this picture and video 10 minutes after running my four-wheeler for about 5 minutes in the garage
