One thing to note with this set is that it only comes with one car even though it is designed for two. So if you want to race you will need another car. You need to build the track up before you start, but the instructions are easy to follow and it didn't take long less than 10 mins and it was ready to go. This set has a fair start gate which twists and lowers the finally peice of track into place, if you fire your car too early you'll speed off the track. Launch at the correct time and you car will be fire up into the air and caught by the claw. This set it get fun, some times one car gets caught, sometimes both do, the cars shoot up into the air superfast. My boys 4 and 6 really enjoy it. Its well built and good quailty as you expect from hotwheels. Recommended

5 stars. But somehow my son liked it for 5 mins...he turned 4 so perhaps he'll like it when he is older. There is just as many times as you can make the car jump up and than that's it. You can't do anything else! But it's good quality.

Very good, it works which is good, some of these sets dont always do what they say they will do, but this one does and does it well, the only thing is hot wheels have decided to use a new clip style which means removing the track bits is harder than before, and I think the clips could break in the future.

My nephew is a Hot Wheels fan; the five stars come from him. He loves it and can't stop sending cars of all sorts (including some non-HW ones) up the ramp at break-neck speeds. It really is fun to play. The 'fair start' aspect of the track falling down to ensure no one jumps the gun adds to the fun factor and it comes with a car which sealed the deal :) The toy was easy to put together and looks as though it will take a fair amount of punishment (although some parts are a little flimsy there's nothing to worry about). It definitely comes under the 'bit of harmless fun' category. All in all, a good purchase and recommended for any HW fans.

Grandson loved it. Reasonably priced. Robust. Buying experience painless. Daughter-in-law managed to put it together without even reading the instructions. What more can you ask?

Bought as a Christmas present for my 3yo who LOVES hot wheels. This gift has gone down well with Hun however the 'claw' after one day can only now be set manually and not with the actual mechanism. And not all hot wheels cars can be used with this track which is a shame. Nevertheless my son still likes it which is the main thing and it was easy to put together.

Grandson loves it! He has only had it for a week but it keeps his attention. He and his dad plays with it all the time. They sent me a video when he received the package and he was so excited. He was playing with it and explained how it worked. Mia was put on a pedestal. Great gift.

I got this for my 4 & 5 year old nephews. This is quick enough paced to keep their attention. The younger one struggle with the timing, but would occasionally win. He loved it when he beat his older brother, even if it was only 10% of the time.

I bought this for my kid and now that he has them its very happy playing with them, good purchase.

We ordered this for Christmas and it was a huge hit with my son...and even my husband! Great boy gift!
