These are the nicest crochet hooks I've ever owned. They glide through every yarn I've tried them with so far. I wasn't bothered about having to buy the cords separately (cause these are a booster pack to a different set), but I do wish there was a pocket for storing the cords for those of us who are buying these as a free-standing set.

It is a booster pack. Pay attention to this fact. There are no cords or stoppers.You will have to buy these separately if you do not already have them.Otherwise the quality is great. Just wish that I had paid more attention to the product details.****Update****09Jan2023I used the 5mm hook and my click cable to crochet a blanket and the part that holds on the cord broke off.I was not crocheting very tightly and not putting undue stress on the hook or cord.Based on that, I am tempted to decrease to a 1 star. But I am trying a replacement.If that is good I will leave it, if it also breaks, I will change my rating to match its merits.

I tried not to be upset about getting two sets and them being different. Font was different. One set said made in Germany but the other didn't. Some of the hooks were different lengths even. I loved the way the yarn glides on them and the click attachment is super nice. I never had them accidentally separate from the cords. The heart stoppers are absolutely darking. I got the gorgeous red cords for them, too.Long term, though, they get the awful penny metal scent that gets on your hands and you cannot get it off. It's horrible. These were my first splurge Tunisian hooks and I am devastated that I cannot use them anymore.

Addi is very "German engineering." Minimalistic and efficient. These have the added bonus of being a beautiful brushed gold. the case is lovely and I'm glad they come in a case but I do wish it had had a pocket to keep the cables and stoppers you will obviously need for these. Which don't come included, so bear that in mind. No huge complaints here, these are wonderful.

the interchangeable cables snap into place, rather than twist. With the twist cables, I found I was constantly loosing the cable on projects the twist and click is the best and well worth the price.

I like that these are steel or aluminum except for the two largest—I like aluminum. I would prefer a case that will also hold the accessories—and include the basic accessories to be able to actually do Tunisian crochet. Very inconvenient not to be able to keep everything together and so far I haven’t found a case that will hold the longest hooks while separating them—Addi needs to make a case for the hooks and accessories.

The smooth finish and shape of the hooks are far superior to bamboo or plastic crochet hooks. Cords are easy to attach, don't kink, and won't snag yarn where attached to the hook.
